  1. I still tend to rely on rational thinking. but when it fails, what do you do then? it's not the end of the world or anything..
  2. everything in the wrong place.. there is a mathematical description of this. It is called "derangements". The original problem involved calculating the number of ways that the post office could deliver all of the mail to the wrong address.. They have developed a formula to calculate this precise number.. you have n houses. The total number of ways the post office can't "get it right" is.. D_n=n!(1-1/1! +1/2! - 1/3! + ... +((-1)^n)/n!) so if there are three houses. The post office has 3!(1 -1/1! +1/2! -1/3!) = 2 ways to completely screw up the delivery.. sanity is only relative, isn't it.. good point friend. very very good..
  3. I understand what you are saying. but isn't this one of the really big, difficult questions? What if you woke up one moment.. and found EVERYTHING you previously believed was just plain wrong.. what would you do? my "beliefs" are insane. I don't care if people label them yes, or no.. or nutty. Or if they agree.. I tend to support the idea of reincarnation. Is it right, or is it wrong? If I can wake up with everything in the wrong place once, what guarantees that it won't happen again? I just can't take it all that seriously.. I dunno. I'm intolerant, even as far as my own personal beliefs are concerned.. maybe, I'm just really, really screwed up here.. why have stability, when one can have all of "this" and more.. stability is really over-rated.
  4. I dunno. To me, they seem to have very similar facial features.. admittedly, he seems to have a certain "puffiness" not exhibited by k*vin..
  5. "batteries".. hah. It has been one compromise, after another.. Batteries are cool. I have two of them.. deep cycle marine cells.. for the radios here. I just turn on the charger, at least once a week..
  6. Today, for lack of other words, it is Americanization.. but where mathematics, science and technology are concerned.. they seem to be more qualified than "us"..
  7. can one (consciously) live two lives, simultaneously.. my vote is "no". even in an existence of infinite possibilities.. I remember a few conversations with people. "the last thing I knew, we were in a car.. in the wrong lane, 70 mph against opposing traffic.. the next moment, we were in a different lane.." "god must have transported us, or something.." sometimes I wish people wouldn't tell me anything. let them sort it out.. what I wonder is. How many agreements did you have to make. With who, or whatever.. between the time the oncoming car resoundedly smashed you into oblivion, and the moment you were in the other lane. batteries didn't exactly "work" that time, did they? I'm sure, if you can get very, very quiet, you can remember this..
  8. I would slightly modify that, or offer a slightly different interpretation. We have a need to end UNBRIDLED capitalism. unbridled, it must consume itself.. maybe that is what is happening anyway.. maybe that is the big "plan".. give it what it wants..
  9. non-linear time. I've seen it.. about the same time as the "impressions" I referred to. I watched my mom speaking. The speech started to become slurred.. slower, and slower, and slower.. I suppose from my point of view, time was speeding up. it was pretty scary then. Now I would know what to do.. sit back, relax, and enjoy the "trip".. I have no idea what it really was.. I would be perfectly satisfied with the hippies and halloween candy explanation. regarding "specific cases". whatever became of the lady who supposedly grew a brand new functional eyeball in an empty eye socket? just wonder. It was supposedly some gal from west virginia.. l*nda somebody..
  10. what else was in this old bible (now in a landfill somewhere).. I had little notes along side of every verse quoted in pfal, all of the books, classes I had taken. They looked something like this: I Timothy 2:15 pfal Luke 24:49 what these meant. These were verses quoted in pfal. the verse quoted was the one the note was next to, the previous verse quoted was the first reference (I timothy 2:15), the next verse quoted was the one following (Luke 24.49). I said I had a complete 62 page pfal expanded sylabus transcribed in the loose leaf sections at the end? every note bullinger had for "also".. half of the figures of speech book. the acrostic psalms and writings.. ps 119 was far from the only acrostic composition..
  11. He has to be at least 58 or so.. at least one would think.
  12. I remember that last instructions after the "you probably won't remember, but.." part. "You had BETTER get it right, this time.." for the most part, I think I have.. with a shrinking microcosm.. I don't know how many more chances we get..
  13. "some of us" remember where we came from. Or have a pretty good illusion, or delusion.. the last thing I remember, before the big cosmic flush down the hole.. there were two or three other entities I had to make some kind of agreement with to have the privilege of the flush. "very likely you will not remember this conversation.." I dunno. Could I have made it up? The impression was more bizarre than anything I'd yet seen on T.V.. hippies.. lsd.. halloween candy. yep.. that COULD explain it..
  14. It was a pretty vivid impression. Maybe hippies laced my halloween candy with lsd.. Who knows.. as far as the batteries are concerned.. I think no batteries included was part of the agreement to enter this existence. we have those, who claim to have the batteries. I would like to see one honest report of where the "battery poser" has done something really useful.. other than to try to desperately attract attention and admiration to itself.. generally. I know, perhaps there are a couple specific cases..
  15. afterlife, afterlife.. or is it beforelife.. "where ARE you from.." "I suppose the best way to find out where you come from is to find out where you' re going, and then work backwards". anybody who knows the source of this off the top of their head wins the booby prize.. I really think that this existence is some kind of summer camp.. a short, sweet (and for some of us not so sweet) break from eternity.. the portal I passed through towards this place, it was like death.. that is an impression I had when I was very young.
  16. blind is better, isn't it?

This character, is so cool.. The last time I met him.. I said something like.. well. Weird. The first living soul he helped deliver, was one of my offspring.. and the last one, was his last, at whatever organization, that it was..

so damned weird.. yes. He was the doctor who gave me the scissors.. to cut the umbilical cord, attaching my first child. then he did it again.. for the second. sorry, I am overwhelmed here..

This doctor is cool. He literally was the first, and last birth doctor, to my first, and last offspring.. weird, I know.. How many coincidences does one want in life.. christ.. where do we go from here..
  20. Shellon. You came to twig once here.. doesn't that look like him?
  21. Ha! It appears to have been a Guinness.. Ha! It appears to have been a Guinness..
  22. but was there a Beer, attached to the melon?
  23. what I find interesting. Looking at his internet site. He really is a dead ringer for k*vin g*igou..
  24. Shellon.. this is a debriefing. It's not that big a deal though. anyway. We get our final chance to say why, or what it was that caused us to follow a madman..

fasting glucose levels are normally between 95 and 110. Red wine consumption, does not affect any blood glucose readings, significantly.. beer, on the other hand. can produce a few "spikes"..
