  1. yeah, but.... . . . just thought I'd be the first I hope the attempt at satire IS recognized
  2. hey, I asked PRETTY please--when was the last time cops asked you please about anything?? but hey, 2 concise posts in a row--you're gettin there....
  3. a hell of a lot more to the point than your previous one, that's for damn sure!! keep it up, you'll get concise yet....
  4. mj---less rambling, more coherence. Try typing less and saying more, pretty please... :)--> oldiesman has been struggling with the SAME info for plus-or-minus 3 years...and it's all old info. One can check out other sources, add it up, do the math--it ain't rocket science, for cripes sake!! I came to WayDale in the first year it was up; spring of 99, I think, after lurking at Trancechat first. It wasn't til a year after I came to WayDale that I finally faced up to it--Vic was a stinkin' pedophile pervert. C'mon, who on here in his 50s and 60s is gonna be lookin to 15, 16, 21, 22 year olds for sex outside of marriage??? get real--God nor the Bible condone or excuse it--that aint blowin it, that's rollin in it and lovin every minute of it!!! Hey Bible fans--what's it say about CONTINUING willfully in sin once delivered??...GOD FORBID!!!! Now if God forbids, how happy is He with those that decide to stay in it, I ask you??? speak up, I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!!!
  5. yeah, toto, and no bs rules about 10 min. late, the next day meet at 4:30 and then 3:30 ad nauseum.....
  6. this has been om's mo since waydale, where he posted under another handle...didn't you, om??? ...thought nobody paid attention, didja???
  7. Take it Easy...written by Jackson Browne. and I love these words call it a loan in the morning when I closed my eyes you were sleeping in paradise and while the room was growing light I was holding still with all my might oh-what if it's true what my heart says oh-what'll I do what if this feeling becomes hard to part with you were meant to play your part in the design of a desperate heart and while you gave your love to me I was betting I was getting it free oh-if I'd only known what your heart cost oh-can we call it a loan? and a debt that I owe, on a bet that I lost in the evening when you see my eyes looking back at you, no disguise I'm not sure who you think you'll see I'm just hoping you'll still know that it's me oh-what if it's true better ask the man inside oh, oh-there seem to be two one steals the love, and the other one hides yeah-can we call it a loan? 'til I'm paid in full for the seeds I've sown yeah-can we say that I've grown in some way that we may have yet to be shown oh-if I'd only known what your heart cost oh-can we call it a loan? and a debt that I owe, on a bet that I lost I wept when I first heard the song, thinking how little I deserved the love of a good woman, my wife, Jean
  8. we must be carrying around equal-sized chunks of The REnewed MIND... yessirreee, thats the answer muuhhwwwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
  9. you have certainly brought up an exception there... I will not go into detail at all but That individual had a long history. She picked up on the anything goes sexual mores of da way and at one time embraced it to the hilt. I hope and pray that in the past 17 years she has matured and moved on from that sordid bit of her history.
  10. certainly there must be some, yes--but the ones that I know personally, as well as those that I know of, run 20 to 1 against om's choice # 3. om may be a nice guy, don't know... he comes across as WILLFULLY ignorant--he's been around these boards awhile; said he was at the old gs in some post of his in the last 6 months. He plays the uninformed ex-way a bit too smoothly for me....CAUTION--just my smelly opinion, unlike the first-person testimony I, and many others, have concerning slicky-vicy.
  11. cmon, oldiesman--pretend we're talking about, oh, maybe your flesh and blood sister at say,the ripe old age of 19, 21, 24...vs 60, 63 year old vic...who's outa fyellowship here, the stupid kid or the wise old managawd??? ...take all the time ya want, it's only YOUR sister, om..... sheeeeeesh lou-eeze!!!
  12. NO disrespect--please don't shut up!!! but PLEASE do not delude yourself into thinking that the answers you need will necessarily be found here... it sounds like you have "issues" that are important and I just would not bank on them being resolved here... DO not shut up...this place is about asking and finding out whether or not there is an answer to be found....
  13. no disrespect intended--perhaps you better tend to those other, personal issues because I seriouly doubt that you will ever receive the answer you are loking for in the form you are looking for... I pray that you find what you need...
  14. you really must be helping people left, right and center with your attitude... I mean, you have all the answers, right???? ...I mean you, and others have "believed" God to go help all these poor, unfortunate, self-duped women who just are all confused and don't know what they're talking about BUT thank God YOU have been there with the Word and all--right??? .. ... .... . oh, no?????? hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
  15. yes, THERE WERE women who "accused" vp and others..... and... they were shown the door, hushed up, "shunned", accused of being tripped out, etc., etc. And, yes, I did not believe them either--mostly because that was company policy in those days, I am ashamed to say. If I had more love and less "twi-style believing", perhaps I would have had the balls to support them-who knows?? To all the folks on here who never saw it--get over it, you just didn't see it and most did not. Now that all is said and done, I have come to know of at least an easy half-dozen whom I knew PERSONALLY that were "used" to help "bless" the ole vicenstein... Who you gonna hold responsible?? some barely legal-age woman-child or the 55-60 something, married, ordained, "PHD"-wielding, father AND self-proclaimed "Father-in-the WERD" man o' gawd o' the last 20 centuries.... SOME of u are as klueless as can be. some OBVIOUSLY wish to remain that way forever...and are to be pitied for their cold, unfeeling, hard-hearted wish and desire to "freeze" the past in some syrupy, glazed-over, self-induced WOW, RACA-style way-o'-vee-pee nirvana WAKE UP, damn it!!!!!!!!!!!!! He and it wasn't ALL THAT--now get over it. You want to give someone the glory for what was godly, give it to God--and leave it there!!
  16. my Compaq came with 128MB of ram and I added a 256MB stick a while back when RAM was super-cheap; it's come back down again recently ;)--> just bought a GeForce4 MX440 video card w/ 64MB--definitely an improvement on the old 8MB nvidia vanta card the 'puter came with. I have a dual-boot ME/2K setup; to help me study for passing A+ certification-I passed my hardware test and am preparing for the OS test now... :P--> :D-->
  17. John, I hate to rain on the PERFECT 7th kork thread parade,,,BUT oledocvic said the same to the sickthppth kork. Ask Hope, see if she remembers--course, it was early in the year and by the end of our first year, he coulda been thinkin' ANY kork had more potential then ourn so's he goes and blabs to the very next one, ur own dear, dear 7th about how much potential You-all HAD to have had.... least ways, I know he said that same .... during our first official kork night at mpooriam. Hope, still remember Greg M. arguing with his vicness the very first night??? wahahahahahahahahahahhaa
  18. some folks on this forum sound like they got to likin' bein' kicked in the teeth by twi. kept comin' back for more... God forbid anyone should complain about this treatment--AFTER ALL, WE ASKED FOR IT--right, o-m??? You're kind of thinking is just what those klowns were after...maybe YOU got kicked out od the kork and came back beggin' for more, eh, o-m???? how come you left, anyways??
  19. so we're all fair game and jes askin' for it, eh ole-man. remind me to never attend your "christian training program", o-m. WHO IN THE .... ENCOURAGED EVERYONE TO "GIVE UP" THEIR LIVES FOR TWI, ANYWHO??? CAPTAIN HOWDY??? I remember it being the double-esteemed-for their-works-sake,upper echelon, slaver-at-every-word-o'-vic fools like BM, JAL, LCM and many others. u miss those years, o-m?? sheesh, how klueless can u be????
  20. Golfie--for the lyrics to Suzanne... man, what a way with words... Lightside--that is the wonderful woman who married me and puts up with me on a daily basis... her first name is Jean and she was in the 12th kork. She worked on staff at twihq for a # of years after she graduated. We celebrate 10 years together this last year. And those are 2 of my nephews in my lil red car, Bob and Annette Eachus' 2 oldest boys(out of 4), now 15 and 13, yikes, how time flys!! ;)--> :P--> -->
  21. Thanks, Hope, for posting the lyrics to "Sisters of Mercy"--had not thought of those in ages. Do you have the lyrics to "Suzanne"? I guess I should start a thread for kat pics, ala--I'll see what pics I've got... No, ala, Dave Brubeck's take 5 goes back a bit farther than that...late 50's, I believe. I am not much of a strict historian when it comes to jazz. I know the basics, but am constantly finding new stuff. I like some be-bop, more of the "cool", west-coast sound--Gerry Mullugan, Bill Evans trio and early Miles Davis. and many others...
  22. ...add an "f" and you have alFa--tadaa!! I own 3 old Alfa Romeos, we have 3 kool cats, I love jazz, among other genres and alfakats just kinda clicked. so now you know what few do... in fact, here's a pic: well, see below hope that isn't too far off topic --> ;)--> :P--> [This message was edited by alfakat on January 10, 2003 at 14:54.] [This message was edited by alfakat on January 10, 2003 at 15:33.]
  23. what a sweet thread...how come nobody's brought up two of my favorite female vocalists AND writers...Joni Mitchell and Judy Collins??? When I hear "Suzanne" it still gives me the same chills it did 36 years ago...does anyone know about Leonard Cohen, the author?? ...socks, Sonrise was one serious band--I wish i could hear, in it's entirety, your version of "I saw the light"--man, it was inspired!!! Has anyone had any contact with Risa Fleet or Olivia Scott over the years?? Both were in the Holy Katzenjammers and in a short-time gig called Souled Out that performed at raca '75. man, what pipes on those two...and Risa could scat with the BEST of them. I heard her do "Moondance" at a college advance long, long ago. Everyone in the room was breathless when she was done and Del Duncan came up front afterwards and was speechless and simply said "Goodnight-go talk with the Father" man, some truly wonderful memories here....
  24. so, Oldiesman---you think it was some funny .... ole vic laid on gj when he was a kid, huh?? ...it was sad, sick, demented evil designed to overcome the revulsion he would have had finding out the krap vic pulled with his mom... laugh yer *** off about that, old-man... sheeesh, some people are as klueless now as they were 30 year ago 'n more!!
  25. thanks very much, all--nice of you to remember, esp. Kit, who so faithfully starts so many b-day threads. Had a nice, quiet get-together with a few local friends and family--you'd hardly have known it was the big Five-O, ..book 'em, Dan-o. love to you all ...Felix the alfakat
