  1. Hi Mark, Yeah, I heard Ron was back in Anderson. I thought Pam was still at TWI. She stayed on way too long. She must have just left in the last year or two. I would like to contact her if you have any specific information. She was the first person I contacted when I moved to Chico in Summer of 75. When did you roll in to Chico? That was quite a large house we had. I enjoyed living there.
  2. Hi. MARK. I certainly do remember you. I saw your name in another blog and was wondering if you would surface. I trust all is well with you and you are still in the bay area in the family business. Married? I spoke with Hans a long time ago and he was in Arizona. I saw Cindy a few years ago in Virginia. How are you?
  3. That one eyed snake in the hootch could have been the same lead staff that frisked and confiscated all of furys choclate bars and candy stash when he first arrived. Somebody ratted him out. fury couldve been the first guy to gain weight on his solo/duo/self structured pronated vertical horizontal mandated lost in the woods under direct supervision with a 20 0z. baggie of laxatives.
  4. No. But I lived with some. We had this huge house and eleven of us with Mary Martha who was interim 6th. May have been 76-77. I spent time time in Sac. in 77-78 taking classes. I took the class in Woodland in 75.
  5. The whole point to my initial sharing in this blog in the first place was to emphasize RELATIONSHIP with Jesus. Everyone seemed so eager to argue about the Deity, my point was missed. Do you have an overwhelming belief that you cant say Jesus without saying Christ? Lord Jesus is what we confessed in Ro. 10:9-10. My wife told me I was wasting my time with this subject and reminded me of the old days talking to people about this. Anyway, an ex wayer cannot comprehend any of the trinity because of the doctrinal error about "spirit, soul, and body". I go to a trinitarian church and I have seen more power, presence and love of God than I ever did in the Way.
  6. Looking for tenth that went to Fort Chafee with Gary Curtis and Lightbearers to Ft. Smith. in 80
  7. Dot... where is Ann? Is forest city near Fayetville?
  8. Hello to all in Wisconsin. I was there... In Milwaukee...85 to the end of 86 for a year and a half. Left after pop went back to CA to rebuild our lives. We knew many and loved all.
  9. Hey all. I just found this site a week ago. I was born and raised in California. Took the class in 75 and spent four years in Chico before going into the Corps. I see many familiar names and have great memories of bay area folks coming to Chico to minister and teach. Chico was a spiritually very dry place but I lived with the greatest believers I was proud to call friends. We always he great fellowship. I was very green in the Word and nobody took the time to relate to me more than Tim Bishop. I thank God for him. Also, Bill McHarg treated me with love and respect and nicknamed me "coolbreeze" our first year in residence. I still dont know what that means. But, he and his sister smiled when they teased me so I knew it couldn't be too bad. Also, I thank God for the people who had to put up with me. The Seeds were very instrumental in my success as a minister and leader. Despite all that went down, I still thank God for them. I know they took alot of blame for things by covering another leaders behind. God be merciful to California.
  10. Would love to contact him. Gene and I were very close. I remember sitting with him in the dining room our first week in residence and Craig yelled at him because he always drew a caricature of himself next to his signature. I asked Gene about the caricature he and he smiled and told me thats how he signed his checks. He flashed a grin and we continued to fight over the gorp.
  11. I just skimmed over what others wrote so I hope I dont sound like I am from the department of redundancy department (bad joke). I am an old corps grad and was clergy in TWI. I was born and raised catholic so I was raised believing the trinity. No problem in my mind. Then I read JCINGod and because I was hungry I accepted it. about 12 years ago I was looking through John 14-16 and discovered about our life hinges on our relationship with Jesus Christ. I started believing in the trinity (which caused many to hate me). I dont try to figure everything out. I do walk and talk with my Lord and Savior everyday. I pray...Lord.. I ask and thank him for things. I tell Him I love Him. Isnt He the red thread? Isnt he the Word? I believe that doctrinal error of the way in this area brought the anti-christ spirit into the ministry and is partly responsible for the downful. I would rather worship Jesus and not have the spirit of anti christ in my life. I am free. What? I cant have a relationship with Jesus because Dr. W said so? Or the Gospels were for our learning and not written to us? I cant believe I used slam southern preachers by pronouncing Jesus the way they did. Doesnt that sound anti christ to you?Besides all that. I believe Dr. hated Jews stemming from his european background (read the pianist, schindlers list and find out had badly european Jews were treated by their own nonjew countrymen) I dont believe the replacement theology lie, either. oh yeah, BY THE WAY I believe the dead are alive.

I got over being scared to death of little kids. I had a great time. I worked alot, volunteered alot, ate good and was under the radar.
