That one is REALLY familiar. I'll probably get it in time. George -
This will at least get us back to the mid-20th century: Clark Gable The Misfits Marilyn Monroe George

I was going to donate, but apparently it requires a phone that accepts texts (for some sort of ID verification), which mine do not. Let me know how I can circumvent this. George

Yep. I imagine it was the last clue that gave it away. George

"Funny story. I had my office made into a rocket ship. All billionaires have them." "It's true." 1: "What happened to you?" 2: "A car ran me over a little." 3: "You always remember your first time." "You win this round, lettuce." "When you love somebody, and I mean, you really love them, you gotta be willing to do anything for 'em. Even if that means letting them go." "Even if it hurts?" "Especially then." "You all see a giant pig, right?" George

This show ended after five seasons, not because of poor ratings or actor burn-out. They simply felt that they had done everything that needed to be done. Five actors appeared in every episode. In an episode of the X-Files, Scully and Mulder took the names of the married couple on this show, while working undercover. Office scenes were set in New York; home scenes were set in New Rochelle. The series won 15 Emmy Awards. In 1997, the episodes "Coast-to-Coast Big Mouth" and "It May Look Like a Walnut" were ranked at 8 and 15 respectively on TV Guide's 100 Greatest Episodes of All Time. The original name of the show was to be "Head of the Family," with a different cast. The star's brother had a recurring role as the star's character's brother. George

Both of your last posts seem familiar, but they don't come immediately to mind. George -
Neither has been in my living room. George

And the Arrowverse comes to an end. Arrow, Legends, Supergirl, Batwoman, Black Lightning, and now Flash gone. (And Stargirl, Gotham, and Naomi, but they weren't really Arrowverse. Superman and Lois and Gotham Knights continue, but not in the Arrowverse.) The last episode had some good action, with all of Flash's super-speed villains teaming up against Team Flash. And, of course, the syrupy ending. I wish Paco and Ralph had been involved, but I don't make those decisions... George

Fine. Jimmy Foxx and Mel Ott. "Jimmie Duggan" is considered a cross between Jimmy Foxx and Hack Wilson. Again it just magnifies the incredible HR production of the Bambino. The next person to hit 600 was Willie Mays, and he didn't do that until the "Miracle Mets" year of 1969, and he was STILL behind Ruth by 114 at that time. FREE POST!! George

Help! This one might be borderline for this thread... "Eyes that look like heaven, lips like cherry wine That girl can sure enough make my little light shine." George -

Actually, "Ahab the Arab" was a Ray Stevens hit. These lyrics have a Ray Stevens feel, but I'm pretty sure it's not "Ahab the Arab." George
