I just watched the video. Juedes's presentation seems a bit scattershot, maybe because he was trying to cover a lot of ground in a short time, but it certainly wouldn't be considered a "rant." I never believed that TWI was the only truth (which is probably why I got drummed out, years later). I remember a WOW asking me if I believed TWI was "God's ministry." I responded that I believed it was OF God, but not the only one out there. That was an acceptable answer in the early 80's, but not after Martindale took over. Branch adn Limb leaders had to acknowledge that Wierwille and Martindale were not infallible, but who was I to question what they had to say? I'm glad I took PFAL (Foundational, Intermediate, and Advanced). I did learn a lot of biblical truth which I probably wouldn't have, otherwise. Over time, I could see that the group was more about obedience (to TWI) than devotion to God and His Son. One of the promises on "the Green Card" was that PFAL helped one separate truth from error. It took a while, but it did come to pass. George

The initial version of this show set a new record at the time - for the lowest ratings for a pilot. A re-edited version that featured two of the stars' original screen tests at the beginning scored one of the highest test ratings ever. Of the four stars, only two participated in all 58 episodes. One was written out of an episode so he could attend his sister's wedding; another was written out of three episodes; one while he recovered from a tonsillectomy, one when his son Jonathan was born, and one to make a family trip. Frank Zappa and Liberace appeared on separate episodes of the show. What they had in common was a golden sledgehammer. Liberace used it on his piano; Zappa on a car. One of the stars had been "Corky, the Circus Boy" on the show Circus Boy, in the late 50s. One of the stars was on the same Ed Sullivan show which was the first appearance of the Beatles. He had no idea who they were, but wanted to find out how they got the girls to scream like that. (They would, for him, eventually.) George

I got it from Jeremiah Johnson, though I first though "Roy Loomis" was his character in "The Natural." That was "Roy Hobbs," though. George
