  1. I use Edge. I can't see T-Bone's (initial) picture, either. When I click on the garbled script which appears in its place, I get an error message (403 -- No permission). I have occasionally had some trouble posting because of file size. Usually, I open the picture in Paint and then resize. Is the red truck busting through a wall (I think?) your clue? George
  2. Harrison Ford Air Force One Gary Oldman George
  3. "When you start to get into trouble, I will say, 'Perhaps I can be of assistance?' From then on, I do the talking. You stand behind me. And don't appear distracted. We may come from a fragmented, MTV rap-video culture, but they do not. Every aspect of your appearance and behavior will reflect on you, the Department, and me as your sempai." "Golf tomorrow at noon?" "At noon, yes." "This time, I will try to make it harder for you to let me win." "Tough neighborhoods are America's last advantage. " "We're the good guys. Why are we running?" "We're not running. We're eluding." "Perhaps I may suggest a strategy. Don't stare at these guys. Keep your hands down. These guys don't like big arm movements. They might shoot you. Keep your voice calm... Better still, don't say s-it. If you hear me say "Can I be of any assistance?"... ..it's too late. You can kiss your little a$$ goodbye." George
  4. When Clint Eastwood made the comedy Every Which Way but Loose (1978), this actor reportedly said to him, "Clint, you're getting into my territory [comedy], and if it's a success, I'm going out and make 'Dirty Harry Goes to Atlanta'!". When this movie went into production, Eastwood sent a telegram to the actor saying, "You really weren't kidding, were you?" This was Rachel Ward's first major motion picture. (She was not the star.) George
  5. Long Shot The Disaster Artist Superbad George
  6. Sorry to gum up the works, but it looks an AWFUL lot like a scene from Devil's Brother. Is it possible they used footage from one movie in another? George
  7. I'm not going to wait for WW, here, as I googled "The Devil's Brother" and found out that yes, the scene is from that film. My question: HOW THE HELL DID YOU KNOW THAT? (Collateral question: How the hell did WW know that movie?) I'll admit that I can't name many Laurel and Hardy flicks, unless they were meeting the Wolfman or Frankenstein, or whatever, so maybe this was a well-known (to others) one of their films. George
  8. CafeCap, how did you even find this thread, buried for nine years? I wouldn't call it a horror film, but "Experiment in Terror" was an EXCELLENT thriller. By the way, CC, please join in in some of the other game threads. The rules (for most of them) are posted in a pinned thread at the beginning of this forum. The main, general rules are: the person who gets the answer gets to post the next puzzle, and no googling to get the answer (though it's okay to google when giving the clue). George
  9. Juliette Binoche Chocolat Johnny Depp George
  10. The actual title is simply "I Like It Like That." I think the Kingsmen might have performed it first, but it's the DC5 cover I remember best. Human is up. George
  11. You take Sally and I'll take Sue And we're gonna rock away all of our blues Come on (come on, let me show you where it's at) Come on (come on, let me show you where it's at) I wanna show you (come on, let me show you where it's at) The last time I was down there they lost my shoes They had some cat shoutin' the blues The people was yellin' and shoutin' for more And all they kept sayin' was-a "Go man, go" George
  12. It is. Mila Kunis was only 14 when she auditioned for the show. She, of course, met and married Ashton Kutcher. George
  13. No. Significantly earlier film. "When you start to get into trouble, I will say, 'Perhaps I can be of assistance?' From then on, I do the talking. You stand behind me. And don't appear distracted. We may come from a fragmented, MTV rap-video culture, but they do not. Every aspect of your appearance and behavior will reflect on you, the Department, and me as your sempai." "Golf tomorrow at noon?" "At noon, yes." George
  14. One of the actresses was only fourteen when she auditioned for the show. The casting directors required that any interested actors be at least 18 when auditioning. When producers asked her age, she misled them by saying, "Well, I'll be eighteen on my birthday." and neglected to say what year. She had her first kiss in real life at the age of fourteen as an actress on this show with one of the actors. She and he are now married and have two children. The fifth season episode titles are all Led Zeppelin song titles, the sixth season are all The Who songs, the seventh season are all The Rolling Stones songs, and the eighth season's titles are all Queen songs. George

  17. As long as they don't have Young's screechy voice, I'm okay with them. There are different songs: Some I've never heard or heard of; Some I've heard of but not heard. If they're VERY famous, I might get them Some I've heard, but never paid much attention to the lyrics. There may be a repeated phrase that I remember. (That's where "Our House" fits in.) Some I know pretty well, but can't quite "hear" them. That usually means I can't name the title or the performer. Some I know the lyrics and the title but can't remember the performer. That happens a lot with 70s songs. I often couldn't tell you if it was "America" or "The Eagles," or "Earth, Wind, and Fire," or... Then there are those that I know very well. Usually 60s tunes, some 50s and some 70s. Anything after the early 80s is a cr-pshoot. George
