  1. Of course. It would be hard to find a line that isn't a giveaway. You're up. George
  2. It's almost impossible to do this movie without every line being a giveaway (sort of like Monty Python and the Holy Grail). "They said you was hung." "And they was right!" "What did you expect? "Welcome, sonny"? "Make yourself at home"? "Marry my daughter"? You've got to remember that these are just simple farmers. These are people of the land. The common clay of the new West. You know... morons." "Well, Jim, since you are my guest and I am your host, what's your pleasure? What do you like to do?" "Oh, I don't know. Play chess... screw..." "Well, let's play chess." George
  3. Returning from our brief interlude, we find that Raf is up. George
  4. Grandview USA C. Thomas Howell The Outsiders George
  5. And yet, I still don't know it. George
  6. The Mask Cameron Diaz Charlie's Angels George
  7. And...I still don't know it. George
  8. Gretchen Mol Donnie Brasco Johnny Depp George
  9. It is Gladiator. NOW I'm leaving. George
  10. "I knew a man once who said, "Death smiles at us all. All a man can do is smile back."" "I wonder, did your friend smile at his own death?" "You must know. He was your father." "You loved my father, I know. But so did I. That makes us brothers, doesn't it? Smile for me now, brother." "My decision disappoints you?" "You wrote to me once, listing the four chief virtues: Wisdom, justice, fortitude and temperance. As I read the list, I knew I had none of them. But I have other virtues, father. Ambition. That can be a virtue when it drives us to excel. Resourcefulness, courage, perhaps not on the battlefield, but... there are many forms of courage. Devotion, to my family and to you. But none of my virtues were on your list. Even then it was as if you didn't want me for your son." "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?" "Spaniard! Spaniard! Spaniard! …" "At my signal, unleash hell." "My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions and loyal servant to the TRUE emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next." "Three weeks from now, I will be harvesting my crops. Imagine where you will be, and it will be so. Hold the line! Stay with me! If you find yourself alone, riding in the green fields with the sun on your face, do not be troubled. For you are in Elysium, and you're already dead!" If you know the answer, go ahead. I won't be back to check, though, at least until Monday night. George
  11. Sadly, I shall be away from my computer at least until Monday night. If someone else wants to post, have at it. If it's still open when I get back, I'll post one then. George
  12. I STILL don't know what you're talking about. George
  13. Unfortunately, I'll be off the grid until Monday night or Tuesday, so I can't take the round, now. FREE POST If it's still open when I get back, I'll post one then. George
  14. Embarrassing, but I've still got nothing. George
  15. One would think that a star lineup like that would be a giveaway. I'm just having trouble seeing Boris Karlov and Leonard Nimoy in the same role. Frankenstein's monster? George
  16. That's a mistake I think we can all forgive. George
  17. No idea. Sounds pretty funny! George
  18. Didn't you do this one, before? I don't remember the answer, but the detectives' cars bit and the "coroner with an iron stomach" phrase seem AWFULLY familiar... George
  19. It is. I saw it in college. It was pretty creepy, but it was well done. I saw "Gloria Bell" recently. Another upstanding, middle-class single woman getting into bad relationships with guys she meets at bars. As opposed to LFMG, though, GB was pointless. George
