  1. I can think of a few b&w shows which were popular, but not one that ran only five seasons. George
  2. Jennifer Connelly The Rocketeer Alan Arkin George
  3. I had though of "Black Magic Woman" and "Witchy Woman"; but, like "Love Potion #9," I knew they weren't right. I may have heard "Devil Woman" at some point, but I don't remember it. Your new song also seems familiar, but not enough for me to hazard a guess. AFAIK, the "three day" waiting period for googling is only for getting an answer, so the game can move on (like a name in Triple Movie Links). If someone has no intent to answer the puzzle, he can google at any time. WW was certain that he could not answer the last song clue, so he looked it up for his own information. Had he looked it up and then gave the answer, THAT would have been a high crime or misdemeanor. George
  4. Okay, then. I'm going to need more clues. George
  5. Sean Astin Deterrence Kevin Pollack George
  6. Alan Rickman Galaxy Quest Sam Rockwell George
  7. Were the lyrics actually used on the show? A number of shows use instrumental versions for their theme music. George
  8. Reminds me of "Love Potion No. 9," but it clearly isn't that song. George
  9. Scarlett Johansson Ghost in the Shell Juliette Binoche George
  10. My memory isn't that good. Go ahead, if you know it, Human. George
  11. The WB's announcement that it was canceling the show came at a time when it was rated second only to Smallville(2001) among 18-to-34-year-olds. There were 110 episodes of this show. There are just four episodes in which a character's name is in the title: "Darla", "Disharmony", "Fredless", and "Harm's Way". The lead character's car is a Black 1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX convertible. George
  12. Ah. M*A*S*H I remember the same character breaking his arm with an X-ray machine (or something), just so he stay and investigate the MASH unit. Hawkeye asked, "Does he do kids' parties?" (A line I often use when someone does something stupid.) George
  13. I normally wouldn't give it to you with two guesses on the table, but, since you did lean toward the latter (Nemesis), it's yours. Guinan apparently had been married twenty-three times. George
  14. I have to admit that I did enjoy Traxx more. George
  15. "I have commanded men in battle. I have negotiated peace treaties between implacable enemies. But none of this compares with my solemn duty today... as best man. Now, I know, on an occasion such as this, it is expected that I be gracious and fulsome in my praise on the wonders of this blessed union, but have the two of you considered what you were doing to me? Of course you're happy, but what about *my* needs? This is all a damned inconvenience." "You don't trust me." "I have no reason to." "You have every reason. If you had lived my life, and experienced the suffering of my people, you'd be standing where I am." "And if you had lived my life, you would understand my responsibility." "You ever think about getting married again?" "No. Twenty-three was my limit." George
  16. Bruce Greenwood Star Trek Zoe Saldana George
  17. That exchange actually sounds familiar, but is this about a TV show? George
  18. Sounds like another Marx Brothers film. George
  19. Apparently, no more ruminations. Jack Aranson Danny Glover Barry Bostwick John Barrymore Orson Welles William Hurt Gregory Peck Patrick Stewart George
