Dr. Frankenstein? George -
In this movie, the scene where the main character's ex-girlfriend tries to patch up their relationship by buying him a gun rack, is based on some truth. The actor once dated a girl who apparently broke up with him due to his preoccupation with his comedy. A week later, after some thought, she tried to reconcile by buying him a gun-rack. To her, this was an absurd joke that she had hoped he would appreciate. He didn't, and the two remained apart. When the movie was released, and the star's ex viewed the movie with her new steady boyfriend, she was mortified not only to learn that the gun-rack anecdote had been written into the film, but also she was shocked to see that the main characters referred to "her" character as a 'psycho hose-beast'. Some time later, the star telephoned his former girl, attempting to apologize for including a very detracting version of her in the movie. George

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears And the way the sunlight plays upon her hair I hear the sound of a gentle word On the wind that lifts her perfume through the air George

Brannagh has done a lot of Shakespeare. "Macbeth"? George -
That's why I said "so FAR." It hasn't been two seasons, yet, since she appeared. :) George

That's the one. George

Easy enough. :) I've never seen the movie in its entirety, but my brother used to go to see it frequently, and brought all the required props. George

"Kitty, what did my father used to say to me?" "You're losing your hair." "Before that." "Get out." "Thanks for giving me my job back." "Don't thank me. Thank Norm Parker for dying!" "He's a little fragile, but he's gonna grow up to be big and strong... just like his dad." George

I remember a lot of time spent on the distinction between "household" (TWI) and "family" (Christians, in general); but I think most of that was in the LCM years. George

"The Rocky Horror Picture Show"? George

Summer had to be a regular on the show to kill it off. Single appearances don't count. :) George

"Young Frankenstein"? George

Yes. I didn't include Firefly, initially, because that probably would have given it away. Summer has been kind of a death knell for TV shows. With the exception of "Arrow" (so FAR!), none of the shows lasted two full seasons after she joined the cast. (Most didn't make one season.) You're up. George

Slightly different tack. This one's pretty easy, though. What do the following shows have in common? The Cape Dollhouse The Sarah Connor Chronicles Arrow Alphas The 4400 George

That was Judd Nelson, not Judd Hirsch. However, since it was also Judd Nelson in "From the Hip," play on (from Human's clue). George

I think WW gave it to me. It was the Batman TV show, which featured Batgirl in the last season. I'll have a new one up soon. George

Sure, I've seen it. But like a lot of movies I've seen, I only remember one or two quotes. For this one, it's "You can't handle the truth." And if you gave a line about getting a set of steak knives for settling one more case out of court, I would have gotten that. There are other movies I could probably quote verbatim. So, while "Stop that! Stop that! No singin'!" would be enough for me to get "Monty Python and the Holy Grail," not everyone who's seen that movie would remember that line. (Though "What is your name? And what is your quest? And what is your favorite color?" would probably click for just about everyone.) With this thread, it's almost best NOT to pick one of your favorite movies, because you'll remember a lot of lines that others won't. George

Converting sodium to its symbol "Na", we get essentially the Batman theme song. Was there a "Batgirl" show, separate from Batman? George

The lyrics seemed familiar, until the "Sodium" part... :) George
