  1. In this musical, one of the songs has the lead female character compared with 19 other women: Mavis and Sybil [have ways that are winning,] Prudence and Gwendolyn [set your heart spinning,] Phoebe [delightful,] Maude [is disarming,] Janis, Felicia, Lydia [charming,] Cynthia [dashing,] Vivian ['s sweet,] Stephanie [smashing,] Priscilla [a treat,] Veronica, Millicent, Agnes, Jane [convivial company time and again,] Doris, Phyllis, Glynis [of sorts, I'll agree are three jolly good sports]. The child actors were kept in the dark about certain "magical" sequences, so that their expressions of awe were real. One of the children was afraid of heights, so he was coaxed with a 10-cent "bonus" for every take of a "floating" scene. George
  2. That's it. :) "Bang, Bang You're Dead" From Wikipedia: At Rivervale High School, Trevor Adams (Ben Foster) is a bullied outcast trying to fit back in after a false bomb threat he made a few months ago. Trevor is chosen to star in a play called Bang Bang You're Dead as the main character, Josh. After parents and the community hear of the play and its lead actor, they call for it to be canceled. Starring as one of the teachers, Tom "Reverse-Flash" Cavanagh. George
  3. I suspect that the second film is not well-known enough. Pretend you're a six-year-old, playing cops 'n robbers, and you shoot your finger (pretend) gun at your friend. What do you say? George
  4. The Fantastic Four Jessica Alba Sin City George
  5. The Experts Kelly Preston Sky High George
  6. I personally know only five people who have committed suicide. (That's five more than I'd like, but my point is that of all of the people who've committed suicide, I knew five.) All of them were associated with TWI at one time or another, though I would say that TWI was largely responsible for only one of those. George
  7. I believe that that particular line was used only in the first one (although "shagging" is prevalent in all of them), so Human is up. George
  8. Samuel Jackson A Time to Kill Matthew McConaughey George
  9. These guys were actors fourscore and seven years ago... ;) George
  10. Ian McKellen (was in all of the Rings and Hobbit movies) X-Men Halle Berry George
  11. A good guess, but not what I was looking for. Hint: it's more than a one-word overlap. George
  12. A hard-luck inventor develops a flying car, which he uses to try to help a troubled high school student avoid a violent confrontation with the school jocks. George
  13. It strikes me more as a serious detective movie, like an Hercule Poirot story. I guess we COULD wait for another quote or two. George
  14. I was actually going to guess "The Sands of Time After Timecop," even before the last couple of posts. George
  15. That would be the Prince of Persia. Still no "Time" though. George
  16. The end of this is "...Time after Timecop." Ancient Iran was Persia, and I seem to recall a video game about it, but I can't think of a title which ends in "Time" George
  17. "It's a Wonderful Life" Shag me now, or shag me later, Babeee! George
  18. I don't have the original text in front of me :) but I think the first of these two was actually, "Revelation once given may change," which is a little different. Though, in light of the second, it really would be the same. (Once revelation is given, it may change unless given again.) George
  19. I don't remember it from any of the classes. It's certainly possible that he stole used it in a teaching you may have heard. George
