  1. "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" (Gene Pittney)? George
  2. The cast listings help a little, but I'm still not remembering any of the shows clearly enough. New choice (E) sounds fun. Sergeant O'Roarke and Corporal Agarne as paranormal investigators? :) George
  3. (I Can't Get No) "Satisfaction": Rolling Stones I pulled my harp out of my dirty red bandanna I was playin' soft while Bobby sang the blues, yeah Windshield wipers slappin' time, I was holdin' Bobby's hand in mine We sang every song that driver knew George
  4. The first part is a movie you've used more than once (I think). The middle was a controversial movie from 1970. You would probably get it if you got the first part. George
  5. This part of the puzzle is about the real Easy Co., not DC's fictional one. George

  12. OK,then. Two brothers move to a new town, and are convinced that many of the townspeople are vampires. They are invited to a party where they are the only heterosexual men. They realize that the others are, in fact, undead, as they continually recount stories of their WW II battles as part of Easy Company. A TV movie. George
  13. Roger Miller's "King of the Road." New one soon. George
  14. It is. In the "Jolly Holiday" sequence, a number of ladies are compared to Mary The "magic medicine" and "Mary pulls everything out of her bag" shots were a surprise to the kids. "Michael" was afraid of heights, so he was bribed to do the floating tea party scene. "Saving Mr. Banks" was about the origin of the MP movie. George
  15. A worthy guess, but incorrect. (At least as of 2006) this Disney film won the greatest number of Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Actress, Lead Role. A 2013 film described the backstory and making of this film. In this musical, one of the songs has the lead female character compared with 19 other women: Mavis and Sybil [have ways that are winning,] Prudence and Gwendolyn [set your heart spinning,] Phoebe [delightful,] Maude [is disarming,] Janis, Felicia, Lydia [charming,] Cynthia [dashing,] Vivian ['s sweet,] Stephanie [smashing,] Priscilla [a treat,] Veronica, Millicent, Agnes, Jane [convivial company time and again,] Doris, Phyllis, Glynis [of sorts, I'll agree are three jolly good sports]. The child actors were kept in the dark about certain "magical" sequences, so that their expressions of awe were real. One of the children was afraid of heights, so he was coaxed with a 10-cent "bonus" for every take of a "floating" scene. George
  16. Meryl Streep Prairie Home Companion Woody Harrelson George
  17. WW, you're up. If you're not ready, I have a good triple to try. George
  18. I think we could use more details. George
  19. "Incense and Peppermints" has a "nothing to win, but nothing to lose" line, but I'm pretty sure that's not this song. George
