  1. This might be a little tougher, since neither of the films was THAT well-known, but I DO get a TWO-word overlap! A writer/wrestler on another planet, smitten with a woman on Earth, transports her and her husband to his world of dog-people, fish-people, transsexual ex-football players, and self-mutilating women. George
  2. Mike Myers Austin Powers International Man of Mystery Mimi Rogers  George
  3. Seems likely. It DOES fit. But I'll wait for WW's confirmation. George
  4. Actually, I WAS missing something. I thought Raf was continuing the thread and forgot two entries. I didn't realize he was commenting on WW's answer. So, Marilu Henner Perfect Jamie Lee Curtis George
  5. Abe Vigoda was, indeed, in Cannonball Run 2. Aren't you missing something? I don't get the emoticons. Maybe I'm missing something? George

  9. Raf is correct. The "Flicks Remembered..." and "Songs Remembered..." threads are set up so that the burden is on the poser to make it so easy that MOST people should be able to get it. The "Name That..." threads are where the poser can be subtlerwith lines or lyrics. In those threads, it's customary to start out with more obscure lines and make them easier until someone guesses correctly. As a corrolary, the tunes and films in the "Remembered from One" threads should generally be very well-known. Care to try another, AHAT4JC? George
  10. "Headquarters, we are still in pursuit of the black Lamborghini." "Car 42, you've been in pursuit for two hours. Another five minutes and you'll be in Arizona." "Yeah, and we're going to stay in pursuit until we catch them." "It didn't take us THAT long to catch Dillinger." "You are certainly the most distinguished group of highway scofflaws and degenerates ever gathered together in one place!" George
  11. Well, I guess I'm going to need more quotes. :B) George
  12. In this thread, songs are SUPPOSED to be remembered easily from the first line, so there is no "too easy" song. That said, I don't recognize this one. :) George
  13. The Lost Boys Corey Feldman Ghoulies George
  14. I remember the show; I just can't think of the title. George
  15. "Please Don't Eat the Daisies"? George
  16. Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King Ralph Years after missing a prom date with a beautiful girl, a man hires a private detective to find her, finding out that she's now a British governess witha talking umbrella. George
