  1. Star Trek: Generations (again) Brent Spiner Independence Day George
  2. Neither. In fact, they were on the Defiant at the time. George
  3. Has anyone else seen "Tall Tale"? Maybe you need to give it a nudge, Ca. George
  4. I dunno. Sounds like some WB soap opera like "7th Heaven." George
  5. Tell me why Garak and Worf were fighting, and it's yours. George
  6. Hey, Hiway, did you watch the new "Legion of Super-Heroes" cartoon on WB, er, CW? Not as slick as "Justice League," but not as doofy as "Teen Titans Go!" George
  7. "You fight well, for a tailor!" George P.S. The best part of "Trials and Tribble-ations" was seeing Kirk chew out Bashir and O'Brien after the bar fight with the Klingons.
  8. The sound of sonar in your clip reminded me of two shows, THIS ONE, which clearly isn't it, and another show starring Richard Baseheart and David Hedison. Is that it? George Though I've been unable to find a sound clip of the show I have in mind, I did find out that the same composer wrote the "Time Tunnel" theme, which also sounds a bit like your clip.
  9. I'm tempted to say "Mirror, Mirror" from the original series, because Kirk says teh "I think we could be ... friends" line about a new recruit whose counterpart he met in the other dimension, but I don't think Bones used the other line. The scene from "Mirror, Mirror" was used in the DS9 episode "Trials and Tribble-ations" which "Forrest Gump"-ed several scenes from the classic "Trouble with Tribbles" but used the "Mirror, Mirror" scene when Sisko meets Kirk. Bashir helped O'Brien, and could have said the "I'm a doctor..." line. Well, let's see. Hiway said he's useless with DS9 quotes, so I'll go with "Mirror, Mirror." George
  10. You are correct with "Long, Tall Glasses." taken from a bit of a line in the second verse. I think most people refer to the song as "I Can't Dance"! George
  11. Cool story. Dave! I hope you really do intend to make the Houston shindig in Nov. I'd love to meet you in person. George
  12. The trick to this one is: do you actually know the title? It's clear that you recognize the song!) George
  13. That actually is one of the lyrics, though perhaps you know that. Here's another: A little Victor Sylvester and Rudy Valentino! George
  14. So close. So damn close! Though there are many of these in the first picture, the clue refers to only one. The second clue is a symbol for what? George
  15. Could be. The quotes seem vaguely familiar, but I can't place them. George
  16. Hiway, you're a winner in my book. This was actually from the third part of a three-story arc. The episode was titled "The Augments." Go on, Hiway. You're up. George
  17. Uh, Raf, maybe it's Dobie Gill-liz? I think it's your turn. Though, if memory serves, wasn't the actual title "The Loves of Dobie Gillis"? Geroge
  18. Another classic oldie. Nice puzzle, too! George
  19. Nice pic of Liz Taylor, but I'm having trouble figuring out what the other two pictures are! George
  20. Thanks, Doc. Again, the march is titled "Jacob" after my older grandson (my "big pal"). It was performed in a concert by the Brazosport College and Community Band last Apr. 9. Jacob thought it was great that "Poppa was singing to him." (I also play baritone saxophone in the band.) It was the first piece I've written using Finale software. In the past, I had hand-written all the parts. It takes longer to write the score using the software, but the parts are all extracted immediately, saving about two weeks of writer's cramp! I think my manuscript hand is pretty readable, but I think the players enjoyed a printed version, for a change. George
  21. Okay, this one's from memory, so it may be a slight paraphrase: Eugenics isn't the answer. It's CYBERnetics! Of course, this could take a couple of generations to get right. I'd beter get to work! George
  22. I have Nero StartSmart on my computer. I haven't used it before, but I think I was able to convert it to an mp4 file. I've e-mailed it to Sudo, but I'll try to attach it here, as well. George Apparently, I can't upload an mp4 file here, either. Hopefully, Sudo will be able to convert it to some other format. Let's see what you're made of, Witch-boy!
  23. Well, the "cda file" appears to be a shortcut. I'll try attaching the march right from the CD, but I think I'm having a problem with read/write permissions. George Still not getting it. How do I convert the file on CD to something I can actually store (and attach to a post)?
