  1. "When the delivery boy knows me, THEN I'll be a star!" George
  2. Mine was pretty nice, actually. George
  3. Har-de-har-har! Actually, the first time I heard it, it was a cover by a popular British group. The original artist was American, I believe. George
  4. It's hard to have any evangelical fervor if you think that everybody else is right, too. The Roman Catholic church took the wind out of its own sail when they allowed teh Protestants could go to heaven, too. Fess up: weren't you more involved with (and interested in) witnessing when you felt you had THE truth? George
  5. Well, that could be just about any Frankenstein movie. How about "Young Frankenstein"? George
  6. Another excellent show, but one which sadly lasted less than one season. Nope, the one I have in mind lasted five, although all in syndication. Raf, do you know it? George
  7. "Family" where Picard and his brother hang out in the family vineyard? George
  8. OK. The first picture is a loufa (sp?). George
  9. Linda, It's always a pleasure to read your posts. Miss you in the "game room," though! Have a wonderful birthday and a great year. George
  10. Was it the NG episode where Picard, Guinan, Ro, ans a couple of others get turned into children (transporter mishap, I believe), and try to re-take the Enterprise from some Ferengi? Young Picard had a lot of hair. I remember that the first thing he did after being returned to normal was to feel for hair! Incidentally, I picked "Way to Eden" to complement the previous use of "Spock's Brain." In my estimation, those two are tied for the worst ST episode of all time. And "Way to Eden" was essentially remade as "Star Trek V: The Final Frontier," probably the worst ST MOVIE ever. George
  11. I think that's been established. If you know the answer, you might as well blurt it out. WordWolf's shotgun blasts might bring it down eventually, but I don't think he'll mind if you step in. George
  12. Do you see three pictures? On my work computer, the first one seems to be missing. George
  13. Since I actually knew the BS&T song (no, really), I'll post one: Satan should be her name. To me, they're about the same. George
  14. Not a Stargate version. None of them are gone yet, anyway (although SG-1 will close this spring). Third guess? George
  15. Sudo, This gives away the singer's name (if Tops's clue wasn't enough), but it was one of my favorite "Karnak" jokes from the Carson show: (Puts envelope to head) "A double, a triple, a first-baseman's glove, a catcher's glove, and Dolly Parton." (Opens envelope) Name two big hits, two big mitts, and . . . . a country-western star! George
  16. Reminds me of "Booby Trap," the NG episode where Geordi generates a holographic Dr. Brahms to help him figure out how to get the Enterprise out of a trap. George
  17. A worthy guess. HOWEVER, Babylon 5 (1994-1998) was over before this one started. I don't recall Nietzschians or Magog in B5. The Shadows were the real bad guys in B5. Assuming you consider Bruce Boxleitner the star of B5, what other syndicated adventure show would he have been famous for? What's your second guess? George
  18. Don't feel bad; if you hadn't seen "Traxx," we'd STILL be on it! I won't know this movie without googling. George
  19. Well THAT was pretty cool! And on the Johnny Carson show, to boot! I doubt we'd see that today. George
  20. I enjoyed Space: Above and Beyond, as well. Ya gotta love space Marines! But that show went only one season. Again, I can't give any quotes that would make it more obvious. (It would be like using: "Ralph Kramden, when are you and Ed Norton going to take Trixie and me shopping?") A couple other clues about the show, though: It's only been off the air for a couple of years. Its star was more famous for his role as the title hero in another syndicated adventure show. It has a Star Trek relationship. In the show, Nietzschians are bad guys, but the Magog are REALLY bad guys. George
  21. This one might take a little thought: George
  22. No, that was just a "Wag." Keep trying. This show was on the air for several years. George
  23. Actually, I really enjoyed the show. I could give a lot more quotes, but If no one's got it having two of the main characters already, I doubt other quotes would help. George
