  1. (A+B), D, C, B, D, B, E, B, D (stepchildren) George
  2. Isn't that a step-ball-change? Yours sounds kinkier, though. A friend had e-mailed me the Fred & Eleanor bit. What struck me the most was the incredible synchronization. You'd almost swear it was digital animation. Amazing. George And for extra credit: Who was the narrator? (easy) What was the song they were dancing to? (a little harder)
  3. Does the male symbol somehow represent the syllable "ee"? George
  4. Kneeling is uncomfortable, and I don't feel the need to make myself uncomfortable to talk with God. If someone else wants to kneel, it's no skin off my knees! George
  5. I don't see the problem. Some of us are just too darn big, anyway! George
  6. Either gc or wasway needs to post a (written) clue... George
  7. I didn't see "The Shawshank Rebellion." My only guess for this movie is "The Cable Guy," but that would be too easy. George
  8. I'd guess "Boyz II Men," but that's a band, not a film. George
  9. I actualy preferred Ray Walston in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High." Bixby was fine in all his shows. George
  10. And the first picture is of comedian Louie Nye. NYE + DOVE + DELI +VING + (Grateful) DEAD George
  11. I can honestly say I never saw "The Misadventures of Sherriff Lobo." Apparently, I didn't miss much. Geo, I thought you only felt that way about rap!! George
  12. This is wonderful news! For those who have no idea what this is about, please check teh "Joey is 7" thread in the Prayer Room. It's been a VERY tough time for that little boy. This news doesn't "make it all better," but it is a great relief. George
  13. I have one to post, but no time right now. I'll be back in a few hours. George
  14. I've been gone all day. "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington." The periodic table was broken up into Alkali and alkaline earth metals -- blue -- use s-orbitals Transition metals -- red -- d-orbitals Nonmetals (mostly) -- yellow -- p-orbitals Lanthanides and actinides -- green -- f-orbitals George
  15. I like "shank," though "red engine" for "redemption" is pretty weak. I could dance to it; I give it an 84. George
  16. I guess I'll decide whether or not I agree when I find out what "saws knife red engine" is supposed to be. As for Zeta being "Zee," I have no more problem with that than I do "Peter Pain"! (Since the "n" in the French word isn't really pronounced.) George
  17. Oh, DO tell us, Dooj! :) (I think the last three words were "girl for you," but it doesn't ring any bells.) George
  18. Next time, have a cup of coffee before posting! George
  19. Obviously we're talking about Dennis W. The movie "Duel," where he was pursued by a deranged truck driver, was taken from a short story in Playboy. (I actually DID read the articles!) George
  20. Essentially, yes. I attend an offshoot of TWI. Do I hold to EVERYTHING taught by TWI? No. George
  21. You may take a nap after posting a puzzle! George
  22. Not me (I don't bother trying to fit into "orthodox" churches), but my wife has tried to find a local church, and the trinity always rears its ugly head. I think she feels like Lot, turturing her soul in the gates of Sodom. George
  23. That's probably "Shrek 2," then. If so, give it to Chas. George
