I use to have a hunting lease near Burnet TX. There was an area there where they buried all the dead. There were no grave stones. It killed that many that fast. What they show for Mexico is that 10% of those in hospitals die. 1600 people hospitalized and 156 dead. Of course in Mexico people don't go to the hospital as fast as they do here.

And you believe everything the government and the press say. What scared me was a picture from a Japanize airport. They were using infrared camera's to view all the people getting off airplanes. Anyone with a fever was stoped and checked. That kind of big brother watching scares me. Looking at the family in Schurtz Tx (no travel to MX). They have a media op. But they also shut down a whole school district of 14 schools. Media hype or are they not telling us everything.

A bit of sage advice from listening to my spousal unit who has taught college for 21 years. Don't take the students to seriously. Some don't care, some lie, some just want a grade, some don't understand why they didn't get an A, some are mad, some are mad at you because of......... . Basicly do your best and don't worry when you get the corse evaluations and find one or two students who just rip you. Smile and just keep on keeping on. Also teaching at the university level is a low low paying job. My wife has had students who make more than she does 6 months after graduating.

I was just reading about this and it makes so much sense. The cause of global warming is leaves. Just think about it. In the spring the leaves come out and it gets hot. In the fall the leaves fall of the trees and it gets cold. More proff is the antartic. No leaves and man does it get cold. The Amazon is hot because of all the leaves. I really did read it. We decided to help the economy and recarpet the house. For those of you who have never had this experience it means boxing up everything and moving it out of the house so they can replace the carpet in the whole house. I live in Texas and see it on the San Antonio stations all the time. I think most of it is just the fact that blood sells on the news. We use to go deep into Mexico all the time(600 miles). Central Mexico is a great place to visit and the people are great. Learn a few words of spanish and try to use them to be polite and the service you get will amaze you. The border areas I find are not near as friendly. Mexico is no worse than inner areas of big cities.

Cancer New years eve 1992. I drove up to the house to see my wife sitting in a chair on the side walk to the front door. She was sheeling pecans. Something was up. I soon learned that the biopse that she had 2 weeks before was cancer. WE went through almost a year of surgury and cemo. She has been cancer free since then. About 5 years ago when she went in for her anual blood test the numbers came in high. They did some tests and said lets wait 2 months and see what they are again before we do more tests. That is when I found out how devastating cancer can be. When you are fighting cancer you have to have a positive attitude. If you ever feel down walk through a cancer hospital and look at the other people. Man we got it good and are luck compared to the other people. There is always someone who is in worse shape. But when you are home continplating going through it again. It is the most scary think in the world. I don't know if I could stand up to it again. I was not the cancer survivor. I was the prime care giver. I have watched spouses walk out of a doctors office and leave their spouse sitting there without support. I lived in a hospital almost for 6 months. I don't know if I have the strength to do it again. Look to the future. Look to God for strenght. Pray that you don't have to do it again. Four women went through breast cancer here all at the same time. My wife is the only one alive today.

I started with my I phone can do all that. Then I got to the projection TV and said give me a break. But the coffee maker sold me. Just like when I bought that bridge in NYC.

An interesting point is that I discovered Stroh's while on my way to the 1976 ROA's. We had stopped at a hotel the day before we got there to have a shower and good nights sleep. If we don't secede from the Union we at least need to make those east and west coast crazies get a visa before we allow them to enter the state. I must correct him. San Antonio is only 70 miles away. And I know for a fact that there arn't over 23,000,000 Latinos in SA. It only seems that many. The Democratic Committie for Congress or something like that put out so many half truths before the election to make me vomit. This is a country devided. Red in the middle and blue on the coasts. Harris County (Houston) went Obama with all the surrounding counties went McCain. Bexas County (San Antonio) went Obama with all surrounding counties went McCain. When Obama talked about moving the wealth around many people stood up and took notice on both sides. He will have 6 months before it gets nasty. If in his first 6 months the left wing of the Dem. party trys for sweeping changes the reaction of the center and right will be interesting. I don't trust him. Just wanted to let everyone know that gun stores are having a great year since election day. Asault rifles and handguns are hard to find around here. Ammunition price is going up because the demamd is so high. The reason for all this is Obama's talk of banning and a 500%tax on ammunition.

I, as many small bussines owners are not happy with the election. Our fear of more taxs and having to pay health insurance is keeping us from sleep at night. The Dow Jones is showing it with 2 big losses. We are now going to go into a depression.

This is going to sound crazy. Maybe I have changed more than I realise. Because I have been abused more on this site than I ever was when I was in. When I was in I didn't take defecation off anyone. I tend to put up with it now. If it was 30 years ago and I met some of the people that are on this site I would give them a bloody nose at the least.
