Seriously, thanks to all of you with your suggestions! Dot, when I had the poison ivy I even did the Tea Tree Oil stuff-- but by that time, my skin was so "oversensitized", it just made me itchier! I will look up the candidiasis, also, but of the list of symptoms, fatigue is the only other of those that i have frequently, and the itchiness is only on my forearms. I WAS on a lot of antibiotics last winter--frequent ear infections, swollen glands, etc, twice i was put on antibiotics for almost a month. (yes, I had tried Echinacea, galic, etc, but my system was so down that I was coming down with something every 2-3 weeks). I've not had any ear-nose-thraot infection since last April--since I started a nasal spray- - Rhinocort. I did start an acidolphilus treatment for awhile, those "pearls". mebbe that helped, too? (Was taking it daily for a month, now take it about every third day, or so) SRTS, what an amazing guy! SURFING? wow!!!! I think I'll look up his book, myself. Do any of ya think there is any truth to the claim that "many of us have parasites that we don't even know we have. . . ", that this ad I read was saying? (Wondering cuz when I eat steak, I do eat it rare, and I don't always buy organicly grown veggies, etc) I know ya have to take a lot of this advertising with a grain of salt, but this dude brought up some interesting stuff

Okay, all you health "nuts" ;)-->! I've been wanting to do a cleanse of some sort, cuz I keep getting "the Itchies" on both my arms. (There is no rash, it's just itchy and is driving me nuts!) I had this once before when I'd gotten poison ivy and it went systemic. I was itchy for three months! ARRRRRGGGHHH! The Dr's had me on cortisone three times, antibiotics, etc. What cured it was a five-day fast/cleanse with herbal supliments. What I have been seeing in health stores is a cleanse you can do while still eating food. It doesn't have a zillion pills to swallow a day, every hour and a half, and whatever else the cleanse that was so popular in TWI had. Does it work? Also, I read an ad that was promoting it's mail-order cleanse that was to be done for one to three months, and it was supposed to get rid of parasites that supposedly everyone has, due to the way foods are processed nowadays. It was really expensive and I figured probably only partly true. But can ya give me your take on it? Thanks!

Awww, Vickles, I'd LOVE to be there! but I didn't even get to go on my "annual" trip to Michigan to see my family this year! I have an Aunt and Uncle in White Bear Lake, (I think) and one of these years, my family and I have talked about loading up and going to see them once I'd arrived in MI. (Problem is, I don't get to go every year--it was almost too good to be true to have gotten to go two years in a row the last two times!) I'd love to see if I can arrange it for next year, though. (And can I start a food fight? MUHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!)

I'm not sure you could call this "easy listening" but we have started getting Hillsong Australia's music, I think the lead singer is Darlene Zscech. It is awesome music! The lyrics are full of praise and love towards God and Jesus. They have brought me to tears many times. Another group i really love is Selah (NOT TWI's group! LOL!) This is a brother/sister and friend trio. Todd and Nicole Smith and Allan Hall. These guys sing a lot of old hymns with a lot of soul!

Jesse, I sure appreciate those of you who take care of the animals in shelters-- I really didn't know how hard the work was, but I do know it would be hard to deal with the euthanasia room. We still haven't decided what we are gonna do with our Kelly-kitty who is peeing everywhere. It is so hard to get rid of her-- we definately will NOT send her to a no-kill. When I saw the lady we got her from, (She works at a local convenience store), I told her about the delemma with Kelly. She offered me one of Kelly's sister's kittens. The woman still has the mother, who has had at least two litters since I adopted Kelly, and she couldn't find an owner for one of Kelly's sisters, and now that kitty is having kittens! I was a bit angry with her-- SHEESH! she is complaining about all the kittens, but won't fix her cats! And part of my Kelly's problem is cuz the lady begged me to take Kelly when she was 6 weeks old--against my better jugdement, but she had a 10 month old Rottie pup at the time and she was afraid the pup would hurt the kittens. Looking back, I should have taken my chances and let Kelly be with her mommacat a bit longer :(--> I couldn't answer the lady with all her kittens, though-- I wanted to scream at her to get them fixed!!
