  1. o yeah i forgot to say that mailbox verifier is free.... peace, love and all that good stuff
  2. thanks abigail yeah I use norton too. But it seems to have an awful lot of stuff running in the background, taking up memory you know. But it works well. Here's another one... mailbox verifier http://www.mailutilities.com/mv/ Make sure you have all the settings set correctly, there are a few, then it'll work. It will check your mail for you and alert you when you have a message. Good for those who use outlook express, because oe doesn't notify you like yahoo and msn messenger does.
  3. sirg "you gotta learn to dip your toes in hell before you get to heaven" why is that? I've been to hell, it wasn't pretty, the dark night of the soul, Scared the hell out of me. The accuser was there, love brought me out of it. I threw the blood of Jesus in his face. Spit in the devils eye. And God healed my heart, I told him that he got me in this in the first place and I felt the pressure release around my heart and whatever was blocking the flow of blood around my heart released, I felt it flow back through my body. Close to death I was, and I knew it....perhaps that's why I was pushing so hard for answers. Now I still have my ups and downs, but I'm not afraid anymore. A toast to you, with the new wine out of a new bottle. Yet the the old wine becomes new when seen and tasted in a new light. vert
  4. I thought i'd list a few programs that have proven to be very good. Please add some if you know of any that have stood the test of time. -- IE Zoomer. You can right click a picture on a webpage and zoom in on it or make it zoom out. Make it bigger or smaller you know. And it's free. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,1656355,00.asp -- Phone Plus. An excellent caller id program with a phone book. You must have a caller id enabled modem for it to work though. 30 day trial then it'll cost you a little. I have had it for years. Once it logs the number you can add it to the phone book and give it a name. Next time they call it will tell you who's calling audibly if you want it to. Worth a look. http://www.imptec.com/index.html -- AdawareSE. Free. Ad removal tool. http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ -- Spybot s&d (search and destroy) Free. Ad removal Tool http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html -- Please add more to the list.
  5. sirg....man! I gotta read your posts a couple dozen times to "get it". Gettin some of it though...lol. "funny how we can forgive sins like that, in our, the heavens, as it were as if we're gods or sumthin" I think there's some scripture about that "ye all are gods" something like that. btw thanks for forgiving me "and, i think it helps to remember, that in all our ways of harmlessness, we can't forget the wisdom of serpents either" Yeah...somethin ain't it....waiting to feed of of us like leeches. Serpents ready to cut at the vulnerable points in our lives. Not from without but from within. But I think you meant to be wise as serpents. as well as harmless as doves. Just rambling on here.... Seated in the heavenlies-I'm just barely squinting my eyes open to it. And bungy jumping into hell...thanfully it's a strong cord that pulls us back. "both past and future, heaven and earth continue to heighten, lengthen, deepen, widen from this place no, not just to eliminate the ego, but to teach it how to die and come back from the dead whenever it needs and so also how to nourish it, wash it, and decorate it like a christmas tree inside and out" Still working on that one...4 dimensions, I reckon our minds can handle such awareness. Our lives are like a parable. The truth hidden in plain sight. What's on the surface it's not it's true deeper meaning. TGN You are cracking me up man! "Sorry, Vert - I missed it. (Wait, I don't even want to say that... that would mean I am ADMITTING that you were "preachin", but I missed it... this is getting too complex for me." o and I gotta read your posts a few times to "get it" too sirg posted this.. "the spirit quickens, after all and God is a consuming fire" Yeah....is it getting warm in here or is it just me :D--> What that fire doesn't burn, man is that not heaven itself? To grow in and understand that which has survived the fire. Life does seem to be gleaming again. vert
  6. You must excuse the way I sound. To me I sound like I'm preachin' at ya. Must be my upbringing...lol...you probably know all this anyway, but it's good to sit down and talk things away. Still love ya vert
  7. TGN "the quest for the knowledge of good and evil, like the law, and we should become grown ups... For when a person outgrows these things, they grow into Christ." Yeah...the Law, the Written Word, that's the schoolmaster. It's time to close the books and live it as it lives in us. Still opening it occasionally to help ourselves and others. No longer under a schoolmaster-Galations says. That's not just talking about the Mosaic Law, but all written forms of scripture and revelation. That seed of the Word of God is sown-time to grow in it. And it's there, no matter how long ago it was sown. The right Word at the right time is alive and living and gives life. Trusting the Word that sticks with us without having to constantly consult the schoolbooks, the scriptures. Time to live it, to soar with it. Yet still as a child, with all things being new. Staying humble and meek and above all else - loving -because without that we are lost. It's the balance, love will keep us from falling off the mark, for God is Love.
  8. I recall when I was 13 or 14, life flowed and bubbled in everything. LIGHT was everywhere! It flowed from everything. I loved it. On the edge of something great! But then I got sidetracted by a series of events, curiosity into the dark side, and just plain stupid. Drugs for some years, then religion for some more years.... Now free of that stuff, but still rather ignorant at times, I can see things in that Light once more. Not only on the edge of it but fully engulfed into it, though still sidetracked occasionally, but I know there is nothing better. Heaven? What is it? Where is it? How can We get there? Why it's been there all along! Just waiting for us to become as a child, to see through a child's eyes, to make ourselves small and humble our selves to the mighty hand of God. Throwing away the ego and self, and accept ourselves as God's children, brothers and sisters to the Lord Jesus Christ who blazed the trail for us. And left us an example that we should follow in his footsteps. Repent...yup. Be immersed into Jesus Christ. Is he God? Doesn't matter, he's close enough to him, one with him. That's good enough for me. Receive the gift of God. As it comes. Accept it with humble thanksgiving. And be not afraid. God is Love. He Loves us. Fear not the earthquakes in the mind. It serves only to shake us out of our selves and into heaven itself. Prepare ye the way of the Lord in the mind. For therein lies heaven. Christ in us. Hanging with you guys. vert
  9. "sirg....i could stand to hear some more of this! "wow. infinite unfolding layers of truths and possibility and hope." i think of that verse that says that there is nothing unclean of itself sometimes i get pretty lonely and things look quite terrible. a change of perspective would do us all some good. i hit it sometimes but than other times....blah...." I think I'll put this post here.
  10. o....i replied on that other thread before i saw this...cool
  11. Sooooo.....dmiller, did what I say help you any?
  12. by the way...thanks wordwolf
  13. http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html Here's links to the latest versions of spybot and adawarese that wordwolf mentioned. I ran them both and they both found more stuff! Spybot even labeled Spywarenuker as spyware, I hope I didn't waste my money. Well wouldn't be the first time...lol. Might be all you need but I will send you some files. I have adaware version 6 too, paid for it. maybe it's outdated.
  14. here's another one misterpopupstopper, scroll down the page to find it. http://www.misterbuster.com/programs.asp You have to configure it for every webpage you go to though. And there some other cool stuff on this site.
  15. here's one that might help regcleaner-it's an old one and not on their website anymore. But it will list everything in your registry and you can remove it with this program. This may be what you need till you can get spywarenuker. email me and I'll send it to you cmannix@cinci.rr.com I hope you have a high speed connection-a dial up may take a while when sending files.
  16. if that new version of process explorer don't work. I've got the old one that works fine. email me at cmannix@cinci.rr.com if you want me to send you the program
  17. here's another useful program if you are wondering what all them damn process' are. http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/procexp.shtml Or hit "ctrl alt del" to see 'em. But process explorer breaks em into groups of what program belongs to what process.
  18. I can't remember the name of the worst one that was in my registry. something about web offers or like that. what a pain that was. That's why I got spyware nuker in the first place because adaware could find part of it but couldn't get rid of it all.
  19. you could do that but watch out when you are in to regedit. Hit run then type in regedit then enter and use the search feature to find the key words. Are there any in the registry?
  20. try that yahoo toolbar. It's free. if it don't show up after downloading and installing-right click a space at the top of your browser and check yahoo toolbar.
  21. igotout That xp-sp2 popup blocker seemed to block websites that i was trying to go to for the first time. It also blocked my ability to post here at one point. Darn popups and ads-who are these jokers anyway.
  22. http://toolbar.yahoo.com/ a better link for ya Hey 500 posts for me! Catching up with you excathedra...lol....just kidding.
  23. Adaware seems to be behind on the most recent hijack attempts
  24. Abigail Try this one http://www.nuker.com/ It works pretty good, but also if you can get Yahoo's toolbar it has an anti-spy thingy on it witch found stuff that spywarenuker didn't. http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/companion/psr/ Yahoo also has a popup killer.
