George, I'm betting this movie wasn't that recent was it? Lately the Oscar winners talk until the music starts to play.

I added a word. The actual dialog includes more. It continues: You think I'm fu*king with you. I am not fuc*king with you. I'm here from downtown. I'm here from Mitch amd Murray. Amd I'm here on a mission of mercy. You call yourself a salesman you son of a bitch. -

I was afraid you would say that waysider. There's a reason it was called the fog years. The fog was so thick for so long that you couldn't see the nose in front of your face. 13 years respectively. Even a knife couldn't cut through the rhetoric that VPW spun. Add murderer to the long list of master manipulator traits.

Jack Lemmon was in it? All Star cast really. Kevin Spacey, Al Pacino, Alec Baldwin, Alan Arkin, Ed Harris -
Wow. Not bad lyrics.

Thank you George for foraging on with me. You got it! I like this movie a lot. Gritty and humorous film. Did I know it won all the Oscars in 75? Definitely not. The guy interviewing McMurray was really the administrator in charge at the hospital. Most of the staff you see were actually real staffers who worked there. I'm sure a lot of the real crazies were really crazies too. I tried the best I could with what I know and Mashed up the clue. I think I need a break from this thread. I can't compete with you guys really, but I'm going to continue watching you movie fanatics from the sidelines (on this thread) for a while.

I do not remember those lines. Good one George.

Well lets see, he was the sheriff in the postman, a bounty hunter/lynchman in Oh' Brother? Where art thou. He played one of George's bosses on Seinfeld (the one where George got special treatment for being handicapped. Just giving him a face. Maybe you've seen the episodes. The cop who was with the other cop who thought they shot Hannibal Lecter in silence of the lambs. He played the rouge soviet leader in Crimson Tide. (small part). The chief in super troopers. Also a juror in Philadelphia. Remember any of those? Sorry I was rude to you WW. Truce? (Hey this is the internet). I can appear and disappear anytime I want.

George is good at giving the clue that will start the tune in your head. That's the trouble.

I'm here. However, I'm without (a bean), a clue. Not ringing any bells. RottieGrrrl.

No it does not. It won 5 Oscars or as some call it the Grand Slam. Best Screenplay and Best Director. Here's something more for you George. Several of the characters were not actors, but were playing their own roles in the movie that they actually performed everyday in the secular world. It also was at the time the 7th highest grossing movie of all time.

Thank you WordWolf for speaking for everyone here. Dropping how you would do it. Because your way and your method of playing is so much better. Glad you disqualified yourself dude. Other's here like to play not take lessons from you. Maybe you should try keeping your month shut.

I had to goggle "Quo Vadis". No, Not it, and not the right genre either. This was a mid-to late 70's show. Danny Devito was another minor actor.

May have come off a tad to strong. What led those followers down the wrong path was extremist views held by their founders. Was Weirwille an extremist? A sociopath? He may have not had a hand in taking any one's life, but he did have a hand in destroying peoples lives, their marriages, their careers, their future's, and their well being. Wierwille led many good people down the path of destruction. Did we survive? Yes. Never the less we did lose alot as a result of his wickedness.

Yeah, he said it alright. This is out of sequence George. But no. Not Jerry McGuire -
No Accused fans here I guess. Jodi Foster Silence of the Lambs Daniel von Bargen hint: If you know him, you know him. Seinfeld actor. The reason for the hint is that no one seems to be playing this thread much anymore, other that George and WordWolf. So if were stuck here, I'll help move it along, again...................................................... I wish I would have used Lloyd Bridges by the way.

Ok! I think this is a big clue for you guys. This film was the acting debut of Christopher Lloyd was played a minor part.
-
Maybe we didn't die as a result of our partaking the forbidden fruit, but others have. Jim Jones, David Koresh, the Hale Bopp guy. No doubt their followers were just like us.

Nobody's playing! It's in more than one. Isn't it? Rocky for sure. Maybe Rocky IV too. I'll go ahead. Put that coffee down. Coffee is for closers!
