A total guess on my part. Ive never seen it. Only bits and pieces here and there. He lets the last Hungarian go. He waits until his wife and kids are in the ground and then he goes after the rest of the mob. He kills their kids, he kills their wives, he kills their parents and their parents' friends. He burns down the houses they live in and the stores they work in, he kills people that owe them money. And like that he was gone. Underground. Nobody has ever seen him since. He becomes a myth, a spook story that criminals tell their kids at night. "Rat on your pop, and #@%&&$&$ will get you." And no-one ever really believes. I don't think anybody is going to get this one. It has a kind of country bumpkin humor that I like, but not all people necessarily would catch this kind of humor. One of my favorite lines from this movie is.......... Well, any human being will cast about in a moment of stress. No, the fact is, they're flooding this valley so they can hydroelectric up the whole durn state. Yes, sir, the South is gonna change. Everything's gonna be put on electricity and run on a paying basis. Out with the old spiritual mumbo jumbo, the superstitions, and the backward ways.
