  1. A half-muggle, half-witch whose identity as a prince would be a surprise? Piece of cake: Neville Longbottom. I thought he had a line like that in the first movie, but come to think of it, it may have been Finnegan. I have to go back to the first book when I have the inclination to see who really does speak that line.
  2. I don't think I've seen this movie. These are not Blazing Saddles or South Park quotes, two movies that could well qualify as "funniest R rated movie."
  3. How! did! I! miss! this!? Happy! Birthday! Steve!
  4. Okay, Raising Helen... Kate Hudson Almost Famous Philip Symour Hoffman
  5. LIIIIIINDYYYYYYYYY!!!! OH LIIIIIIIINDYYYYYYY!!!!!
  6. I like Where is God When Bad Things Happen? and God is Relevant, both by Luis Palau.

    The Cone of Cindy

Not to be confused with the Tigger of Cindy!
  8. Jeez, y'all are joyless. This movie was cool and fun. Had a great time. It was like a fireworks display: just as loud, just as impressive, just as lasting.
  9. Oh, and pictures! Don't forget pictures!
  10. Me, please. And I need specific dates for the weenie roast and the Oak wedding, to make sure we time this right.

    He seemed normal?

"He seemed normal" is a journalistic cliche. It's right up there with "He kept to himself, didn't bother anybody." What it really means is "I didn't know him but if you insist on quoting me, my name is..." I rarely use those quotes.
  12. We should be just about ready to start: did the ! family find Marvin the Martian at Six Flags? Only time will tell...
  13. You can cheat to make sure the last entry is correct, but not to move forward. For example, in this case you could check the imdb page on Ray Walston to see if he was in the My Favorite Martian movie, but you can't check the movie on imdb because that would give you the whole cast (this is on the honor system: if you knew that Chris Lloyd was in the movie before you checked, then it's fine). I'm not saying this is what WordWolf did. It's just a hypothetical for future reference. So... Presumed Innocent Greta Scaachi Emma
  14. I was away, but glad you guys checked it without me. Yes, Ray Walston was in the movie. Just as a different character.
  15. You're up, George. Those are some great quotes, by the way.
  16. All right, this should be a giveaway... Then get your a**** back in gear. We're under a lot of pressure, you know, and you put us there. Nothing's riding on this except the, uh, first amendment to the Constitution, freedom of the press, and maybe the future of the country. Not that any of that matters, but if you guys f*** up again, I'm going to get mad. Goodnight.
  17. Hiway, There's just something about Yankee Stadium. I mean, really, the White Sox can play anywhere. Same with the Rangers. But take the Astros out of the Astrodome? Sacrilege! Yankees out of Yankee Stadium? Heresy! Mets out of last place? Inconceivable!
  18. Forgive my late entry into this, but why did it take me this long to realize that Catcup is Mrs. Geek?
  19. "All we've got are pieces. We can't seem to figure out what the puzzle is supposed to look like." .... Once, at a gathering, he put his hand over a candle. And he kept it there. He kept it right in the flame until his flesh seared. A woman who was watching asked, "What's the trick?" And he replied. "The trick is not minding."
  20. Kind of proves that the first one was lying, doesn't it. I was going to say any sequel that comes after "The Final Chapter." There were six such sequels after the "final" chapter of Friday the 13th. The exception: We Craven's New Nightmare came after "The Final Nightmare," but it was so damn clever it deserved to be made.
  21. All the President's Men Robert Redford Indecent Proposal
