  1. What I loved is, everytime a storyline was resolved, I never felt cheated. The story is so gently laid out that when something happens, you kick yourself for not seeing it coming (except one major plot twist that is pretty obvious about halfway through the movie). Brilliant film. And about the box... I don't think so.
  2. "Hecklers, naysayers and jerks need not reply." Since you're not namecalling, I'll reply. Charlatans, pseudo-scientists, and gullible folks need not post any further.
  3. Batman Kim Basinger L.A. Confidential
  4. One Tree Hill Two Faces of Evil Three Fugitives The Four Feathers The Five People You Meet in Heaven The Sixth Sense ...
  5. Had to look it up. There's such a thing as too easy ("We're sending you back to the future!") and there's such a thing as too hard. This one's way too hard.
  6. Bravi, Bravi, Bravissimi...
  7. Sorry, it's not The Mask. Nice try, though. Next! ;)-->
  8. Second clue: "God give me courage to show you, you are not alone."
  9. Frequency Jim Caviezel The Count of Monte Cristo For the sake of avoiding redundancy, please check at least a page or two back to make sure we're not repeating links. We just did an officer and a gentleman on the last page, and steve!s link from there is identical to what was linked before.

In order for a thread on Traxx to survive, it has to be derailed, because no one's seen it.
  11. While confirming what you just wrote, WordWolf, I cannot guarantee you've seen this movie.

I would think that I'd come up Jehovah's Witness (#17) before Muslim (#1), but hey, just goes to show how worthless this quiz is. :)-->
  13. Ummm... They've already remade the Bad News Bears. Coming Soon

    Caption this...

Looks like potential Muslim terrorists weren't the only ones caught off guard by those pix of Saddam in his underwear.
  15. The world's going to be made of Nerf by the time these bozos are through with their stupid laws.

Ripley v. The Terminator? Not a bad match up. Ahnold in the Terminator movies reminds me of Worf on Star Trek TNG: Fierce, ruthless, powerful: but the smaller and "weaker" his opponent, the more likely he is to get his butt kicked.
  17. "And what is it that we're meant to have wrote? ... written?"
  18. Bravo, Cynic. Not that I agree with what you're saying (I don't think you really mean it), but I agree with the point behind it.
  19. it looks stupid. Hope I'm wrong.
  20. Calling Mr. Saturday Night a Shadoe Stevens movie is like calling Harry Potter a John Cleese movie.

After Sharon posted the answer, I looked it up on imdb.
  22. Yoda knocking out the red guards didn't make the audience laugh? Tough room. Oh, and I am among those who think the writing in the original trilogy wasn't nearly as bad as the writing in the new trilogy. Yeah, it got no better after the first line of the first movie. But it did get substantially worse in episodes II and III.

Oh, and in case anyone is wondering (including George), my posts on this subject are all in good fun. And no, I have never seen the movie.
