  1. In 2002, the FC's, BC's and regional coordinators were required to attend the ACS in Texas. Is this a requirement for 2004? Also good to see that 100's will be rejoicing together instead of a few thousand like they usually announce. During the years that I was in TWI, I never saw or read an article in the way/mag written by Patti Faye. Guess they are running out of people to write for them.
  2. Hi Pat, You're doing a great job. It is very evident that there is more than what you are telling here that leads me to believe this suit will allow others, like TWIM, to proceed with the same issues. Any attorney will tell you that there is always a law that supercedes another law and with your info to TWIM you too may benefit. I enjoy reading your post as I too am not one to allow someone to control my life. Maybe if more people would have stood up to those bad ugly ferkers and put them in their place none of this would be going on. As far as personal reasons, well, so be it. If it were me, guess I would be doing it for alot of reasons with personal being one of them. TWI, through the years, has destroyed many lives for personal reasons. The only difference, TWI has twisted God's word to do their destruction. It's time to "KICK BUTT"
  3. Mr. P, Paw has rules however, he has never dictated, demanded or shown disrespect to any poster for others to read. Not only should we "concede" to the rules, we should also respect those whom we do not always agree with and ignore those who have a tendenancy to harp and degrade posters. In short, if one has a problem and feels like bitchin at someone...do it in private as I, for one, am not interested...
  4. FontanaAna, doesn't a few of these responses make you want to kick yourself in the butt for even asking? ;)--> I would like very much to have some of this material for my own reading as it was not availavle when I was in TWI. Please understand that their are a few who have the old twi agressiveness and attitude that is still being taught today in twi. The way brain has not been totally cleared to understand that some of us did not experience what they did however we would like to know for our own reasons. Ask for whatever you want FontanaAna but expect comments as to why you ask for something so simple. FYI ask to buy instead of "a copy" and save yourself the grief of some posters. Welcome to GS and look forward to reading your post. Bailey's served with coffee after 12:00, please join me.
  5. Looking forward to seeing God's take on this teaching. Maybe they can explain their teaching to him better than they did to me.
  6. Coleen, Did he mean that by your returning to Jersey that believers in Jersey were considered vomit and you would be a dog? During a reach out at Concord Park, the BC's wife was stung by a bee on her eyelid, Stupid me reached for some ice and was quickly jerked back by another believer sitting next to me. Kenny B. began to administer healing and when he finished he asked for some ice. Within a few minutes Debbie's eye began to swell. They left and she went to get some decadron or benadryl and took it. I confronted the other believer on what he did to me and his answer was, "I was shocked at her believing because she showed so much fear. We are to believe for healing." I believe in healing also but my common sense helps out some too.

    Back To TWI?

This is only my opinion but I have to say that I would never return. I am a forgiving person but I would find it very hard to interact with the people who gave me up for a spiritually posssed person who turned my back on God because I left. I believe it would be very hard for those who have been in TWI and listened and obeyed past and present leadership to change their way of thinking. I can comfortably say, "thinking" because if a person truly studied and believed in God's word these beliefs and actions would not be a part of a true believer's actions toward others.
  8. Yes MJ, it was evil to speak truth about a brother or sister however, it was "love" when a coordinator spread gossip about the believers to others within the household. I don't know about other areas but the Knoxville branches were really bad when it came to gossip within the fellowships. The number one leaders were very good at expressing their opinion about believers and especially about those who decided to leave.
  9. Garth, sort of like "The Good Ship Lollipop?" Lick'em or leave'em
  10. Steven and Patty Faye are pretty neat people however the way is so imbedded in their thinking that they are pretty nasty talking to the believers at times. I have often wondered, since I read Steven's testimony concerning James, if his thinking is still the same since the death of his daughter. I am not being cruel when I ask but they were so sure about why bad things happened to other people. Steven was very open with his emotions and some believers wanted to do nice things for them but we were told to leave them alone.
  11. I have a "THE WAY" bible which is of no association with TWI.
  12. Eagle, I totally agree with your post. I support PJ and too believe that private topics are a good idea. GS is here to help one another get through bad times as well as being happy for those who are having good times. Their are just some things that should be said privately instead of appearing to be an argument for good cause in helping TWI. You Go Pat!!! TWI has screwed and bullied people too long.
  13. In 1998-1999 we were expected to dress as if we were attending the services live...Do all the rituals that were required at a live STS (social transmitted service) however, in 2002, (I think) we were told to come dressed casual or whatever we had to wear. Some of the rituals were dropped from the STS hook-up such as standing and clapping but charging us depended on how many attended. (25-75 cents) When I began HF in 1998, a STS hook-up was attended by at least 30 or more people in the South-Knox area and by 2003 a good Sunday hook-up was attended by the 2 FC's their child and approx 3 believers. There were several times the hook-up was cancelled due to poor response and attendance. I have to agree with others who have posted on how boring these teachings were and I believe this was the attitude of many other believers. Teachings were the same voices with the same bull sh-t. Sort of like a broken record or one that is scratched really bad. You just don't want to listen to the noise it makes.
  14. Steve, try pouring some of your shine into another jar with some stemmed sweet cherries. Chinson, the longer the cherries saturate with the moonshine the more fun Steve and you will have when you eat them.
  15. During a discussion that I had with the wife of my FC concerning sex before marriage, she informed me that at my age sex was o.k.. I often wondered about her answer and wondered why it would be ok now and not a few years back. Her answer told me alot about her. In my opinion, sex was very important between men and wowmen and our needs needed to be met with one who was like-minded. Like-minded or not, doing "it" still didn't make it right.
  16. The burden of proof is required not assumption and/or opinion. There are laws out there that supercede other laws. TWI's court track record has cost them buckhoos of moola but of course it's nothing out of Rosie's pocket. I believe that TWI's deception, lies and cheap tatics will continue to be their breath for life. Rosie's fax indicated she had one more lawsuit to go. The Rosie must need to throw an extra one in there to thrive on until the Peelers get their day in court. Rosie needs to get a life...
  17. Sunesis, Oh my goodness...Madonna I can see it now: Cone bras Garter Belts Lacie thong panties Beds to roll on while they sing Polls to wiggle on The list could go on and on What a treat for the audience and especially their web-site viewers.
  18. Raf, why should Pat give them a damn thing? TWI has taken enough from people using that almighty research and teaching ministry. F**k that bunch of plastic ****.
  19. Are some of those women pregnant? They look like maternity dresses...If not, they need to get with Dot and order those patterns. Good taste Dot ;)-->
  20. Hey Pat, I would, I would, I would :)--> It would not surprise me if TWI went in front of Judge Judy after they pay out for all these lawsuits. At least I don't think wayfers have been told not to watch her yet. She is one that would tear their *** up.
  21. Gosh, I never got to the WOW program but I believe I would have joined the Marine Corp and made some money while I learned all that.. :D-->
  22. I took the class 2 times and no time limits were given in any situation as to the flood, Peleg, the deep etc. Nothing was expounded upon and no threats were given to leave if we didn't like what we were hearing. It was the advesary working in those who chose not to return or they had chosen earthly matters over God. The syllabus was read, no questions asked, collaterals were passed out and we were told to study. No spit..No spittle and no in-depth teaching except instruction in changing commas, periods and the meaning of words to fit their twisted understanding of God's word.
  23. "Something About the Way You Look Tonight" by Elton John
  24. Pat, did it ever occur to you that you already have a web site and no longer need this particular domain? How aobut plurality giving??? :)--> After all, TWI is so generous in giving to the household
