I would love to know more about this case. I live app. 1 1/2 hrs from Chatt. and would be more than happy to attend the court hearings on behalf of the Peelers. I know the Robert's, Stinson's and especially the Binkley's. If you think Steven was stuttering with his answers, then, Kenny Binkley would give the court the true colors of TWI. In 2000, a lady attended the Binkley's fellowship who was on a fixed income. Her SS was about $580 a month. She really needed some assistance and mentioned to Debbie B. the posibility of food stamps. Debbie and Kenny read her pedigree to her and re-arranged her income in order for her to give $10.00 more a month in abs. I know for a fact that financial budgets were mandatory for each household "member" to sit down and go over with the Binkley's. Kenny Binkley should definately be called to testify. He reminded me of Castro or Hitler. As far as fellowship attendance, Yes, we were told to be there or we had better call and give a good reason why we weren't coming. Classes: Yes, you have to take them to prove that you are born again. The classes will teach you how to SIT to prove that you are born again. If you don't take the classes then you have chosen something else over GOD. In short, I attended fellowship in at least 2 of these peoples home, I was there when Martindale's suit was announced and was told it was all a lie. The Parker suit was never announced nor was the Peelers. I knew of the man who was killed, James, that they are referring too. He was attending a TWI class in Knoxville and was told not to return. I do not know the reason, but shortly after that he was killed in an auto accident. After his death, his sister wrote a letter to the ministry which S.R. had a copy of and read to the Chatt. branch, wanting to know why her brother was giving all his money to the ministry. One Chatt. follower says that S.R. told that he was in debt, not being truthful about his income and not tithing what he should. His death was due to devil spirits getting in because he wasn't doing what he was supposed to do.. The door was opened for the devil spirits to kill James because of some way college students getting into some trouble a fews weeks prior to his death. I know this sounds stupid, but the words were so shocking that they were not forgotten by a believer.

I don't say a hell of a lot here because someitmes I may touch a nerve of someone that continues to be hurting very badly. To be hurt, as bad as some of the posters (both mentally and physically), I could never relate too or feel their pain. Please know that I deeply want for your pain to go away so true peace and happiness can be a big part of your life. Sometimes I forget how TWI made some of the most compassionate and loving people to be arrogant and demeaning to others. I have seen that this attitude is still around within some posters who have not yet recovered what was stripped of them also. I'm certainly not here to take up for TWI but to read what could have possibly happened to me if each one of you had not opened your hearts to me. Thank You GS and each one of you for preventing me from the pain and suffering that could have been a part of my life had I not have found you.

JustThinking, I too have been on these planning committees However, I do not believe the abs has paid for anything concerning the ACS. Arrangements are made with the hotel and final decisions are made which determines the fee to be paid for those attending. (Cost per head for this number: price break for this number of people) TWI sets a deadline date for fees to be sent in--Numbers are given to the hotel prior to their dead-line date and Presto, the meeting rooms are set up, rooms are blocked off and maybe coffee will be served. These meetings take alot of time and planning but I would like to see just what it cost out of Rosie's ABS fund. (if any) Just adding also that if the hotel staff wasn't utilized then those which were attending would have to make arrangements to bring their own mops and buckets to clean and re-arrange the hotel for TWI approval.

I regularly attend (annual) the Tenn Hospital Association (THA). We are headquartered at the Operyland Hotel in Nashville. We pay a flat rate to our association which covers banquets and association luncheons. the fee is app. $150-$175.00. The room rates differ, however, the standard rate for us is $75.00-single/double. The fellowship I attended, in 2000, pretty much mandated the coordinators and all AC grads to attend that year. They certainly made plans for 2 people per bed so it would be cheaper. The fellowships also made plans for all to meet and caravan to Nashville because the tickets were $50.00 cheaper flying out of Nashville than from McGee Tyson.

Sounds more like TWI's sexual thoughts being relayed to TWI believers through God's word. I do not find biblical jokes very amusing. Please do not take my opinion personally, but I just feel that TWI's heart is in the wrong place.

Is this class still taught? I ask leadership about this class once a few years ago and they were very discreet with their answers. Reading is wonderful. Reading can take you to so many places and experience many situations, but I would love to curl up and watch a good true to life movie...LIFETIME WHERE ARE YOU!!!!

ex, Chattanooga tied in with Nashville. Today there is no fellowship in Chatt. One believer was told if she wanted to attend fellowship she would have to drive to Knox. which is a 3-4 hour round trip. Never did see her anymore so I guess she got left out in the "I don't give a **** about you anymore land." by her family of over 25 years.... Nashville is only one fellowship now...Tn. is dropping rapidly in numbers. Probably around 60 total in the state...

Oldie, there is more than one subject twi has taught that is not in "writing"

I wore a cross necklace, during my time spent in TWI, which was given to me by my mother. When she gave it to me she told me something like,"This is given to you as a daily reminder of Gods' love for you." I was never told directly not to wear my necklace, however, crude remarks were made about people who had a cross necklace, bookmarks with a cross on them, pictures of Jesus on the cross, were worshipping them as a symbol. To have them was un-godly... Well, I had the opportunity to speak my opinion to a couple ladies about my cross necklace and let them know that not all people think and do as the way thinks they do... Also, never knew how they got Christ's--massacre out of Christmas.... Can someone give me a tip as to where this came from? (Not to change the thread)

I'm looking for a very pretty black girl who I believe is named Cassandra (sp). She attended fellowship in the Baltimore area and is possibly still in twi. She dated a guy by the name of Skip Coleman who was once in the Baltimore area. I met them both at HQ's in 95-98. I believe that Skip was at HQ's and was put on TWI's spiritual probation during this time. Can anyone help me in locating either one of these people? Thanks

Their blaming you is a sure sign of their immaturity however, It may be a time for all to get together, share a great time and to prove to each other that no matter what the past has taught someone, you guys are still there for one another. Well, I read in the way mag that a child was going to party of a non-way child and her mon tells her to remember that she is the only believer there and that God will take care of her. Tinuviel, I can give you the info that you are looking for and here it goes: Debbie Gross Binkley is married to Kenny Binkley, they have a son Donnie who is probably 8 years old this year. Kenny and Debbie were BC's , outside of Knoxville, Tennessee in a surburb called Louisville. Debbie is a full fledged TWI supporter as well as her husband Kenny who was an LCM wanna-be. The screaming, cursing biligerant type. Their actions caused several people to leave their fellowship. Debbie may have been a sweetie early on but apparently that sweetness turned into ???. Kenny and Debbie had to sell everything and move back to HQ. If you want to private topic me I will be glad to fill you in.
