  1. I don't wish suffering on anyone. But I just wonder how much suffering he imposed on Laci. And the suffering for both families were caused by Scott and they will suffer for the rest of thier lives because of him and they are the one's I feel for, his poor mother is really suffering too not just Laci's family he destroyed many lives by what he did and lets not forget poor Conner who never got to live because he was killed by HIS OWN FATHER. In the end he will have to answer to God for that.
  2. Raf, So glad to here Stanly got to you safe and sound and warm weather which he just loves. Wrap him real cozy if you are sending him to a cold state he likes to be warm. We had temps. in the 80's here.
  3. I dont get it and yes I read my e-mails. YUK YUK
  4. Uh if aother state wants to send them to another state to live in my state ( California) who pays the taxes to keep them. It should be the state where he was convicted, we have overcrowding as it is and our taxes are high enough without taking out of state prisoners. As for Scott Peterson I was hoping they would give him life w/o parole so the other prisoners could have a go at him like they did Jeffrey Dahmler. Its much quicker than the death penalty to get him the death sentance and I think until they (the other prisoners) kill his arrogant a$$. Plus he would have been sentanced to Pelican Bay the worst of the so called super prisons. They only take the worst of the worst prisoners there and after the got done "using" him there they would likely kill him as some of you said they don't like baby killers. COWBOY I agree with you I wish Ca. was more like Texas, can we send him to ya'll to execute if we pay for it? I'm hearing right now on court tv that ole Scottie is throwning up his guts as we speak and according to a recently released prisoner he has lost his arrogance and swagger.
  5. I thought about it and came to the conclusion that my dear hubby would be great, and he has experience too. He was a twig leader for for about 18 years and we had the biggest twig in our branch and was temporary B.C during the fog years for a while.
  6. I wanna be on Bless patrol too!! and how about state coordinators anybody know of anyone in thier state? I have to think about my State.
  7. I vote for Kit, she has a beautiful heart and would do a great job. For Vice President Ralph Dubovski.
  8. Don't put me in the same box as VPW I have always tried to be nice to others and I'm not a pervert, but alot of what he taught even if plagurized was right on. I'm not a big fan of his but he wasn't always right or wrong just like the rest of us. Let he who Cast the first stone. And BTW I am not one of those Weirwille-iets either. He will have to answer to God one day same as everyone, no one is all bad or all good.
  9. Raf, did you get Stanley yet? you should have it by now.
  10. Thanks Shaz, I do have some of the symptoms of Lymes but they are also symptoms of my fibromyalgia and arthris so I will talk to my doctor about it. Do you know any natural meds for pain? I'm alsmost always in pain that leaves me homebound and bedridden and I do want to get off the vicodan and other pain meds cuz I'm afraid of getting addicted.
  11. After having so much trouble getting Michael to finish his paper pushing I had a friend of mine who does evaluations on how children work best she discovered that Michael is what she called a vocal learner rather than a paper pusher (he hated writing and had trouble putting things on paper but if allowed to vocalize his work instead of all that writing he was very smart but if he had to write things down he didn't do well. He had trouble even doing his work nevermind finishing it. He was then tested at school at my request and alot of bit*hing I finally got them to do it and they were amazed at how smart he was when allowed to vocalize his work. BUT according to them "they don't do things that way" even if it helps the child so he was caught between a rock and a hard place. In the 5th grade we put him in a wonderful Baptist private school that allowed him to vocalize and and his grades went way up. Unfortunatley after 2 years we found that we could no longer afford to pay them anymore so had to put him back in the public schools and the junior high he went to to was right in the middle of a real bad area and he went downhill from there until as I said before he quit going to school, and now after getting his GED he is graduating from college tomorrow and boy are we proud of him. I guess I know what CW is talking about when she said kids have different ways of learning. He is now a computor architeck and draftsman and already has a good paying job. something like $20-22 bucks an hour to start and is in the process of buying a home and planning his marriage. Sometimes we just have to let them learn in thier own way even tho we may not like it, it work for him and his older brother John. Love ya Abi and it sounds like you got a good handle on it.
  12. Thanks Shaz for the info. I am hopelessly ignorant when it comes to things natural lol thats why I need help. Whats lymes deasese? I heard of it but don't know what it is or what causes it or what the symtoms are. But I really would like to read that book cuz I don't trust the drug industry any more then I trust our government. lol They're both polecats and warthogs IMHO. LOL
  13. Way to go Exxie, I used to do the same thing with my son's teachers too. On the other hand my oldest daughter was an over achiever and I had such fun listening to her teachers brag about her. She graduated in the top 1% of the country and who's who of American High School Students. And know is a fine P.A specializing in cardio-vascular surgery. Know I get my Stitches for free lol. Get it Psalmie?
  14. WOW this is a great thread!!! I'm one of those women who is totally disorgannized when it comes to cleaning, I mess up one room cleaning another LOL but true I didn't realize there was a differance between cleaning and organizing so I try to do both at once and you don't wanta know the outcome trust me on this. But I really got some good tips and will try them all. Hopefully not all at once. I do have one good idea that I've been doing for years. I buy my kitty's dry food in one a those big plastic containers with a wide opening, throw the lid away and put my plastic grocery bags in it. It will hold at least a hundred bags which I used for small trash cans or to carry around with me while cleaning to put trash in or whatever but no wet stuff. I also use the grocery bags to put aluminum cans in then stuff them all in the big yard bags til I go to the recycling place.
  15. Hi Abi, I had 2 of them both boys one was bored to death with kindergarten and the other one in his own little dreamworld. I didn't think they would ever get thru school period and I was right they both quit in high school, but went back and got thier GED's and one just graduated from college ( graduation this Thursday) yyyyyeeeeeeeehhaaaa and the other one just got his general contrators licsence so don't worry about your wee one too soon just enjoy the heck out of him and encourage him gently in the right direction and for God's sake don't let the school pressure you to put him on meds like they did me, it did more harm then good. He sounds like a little charmer too me like my son's were until the school psyciatrist made me put them on Ritalin, that's what screwed them up. also they bothe graduated from college with honors.
  16. :D--> Hey Herbiejuan and Masterherbalist and anyone else into natural healing I'm really interested in natural healing especially in the natural pain dept. And has anyone heard of a book called something like "What the drug companies don't want you to know about natural drugs or healing?" I think thats the title. I saw it on TV and want to get it. Its only onsale online but I can't find it. Anyone? :P--> "Also he talked about healing acid reflux desease"
  17. In my area So. Ca. most churches accept anyone that wants to join. The church I go to occasionally has every race you can imagine and they all get along fine. They love each other and respect other custums Its a very large non-denomontional church with thousands of members, I don't know about the rest of the state but here in Los Angeles County thats the way it is.
  18. River Pheonix is a classic I think parents who give thier child embarrassing names should spend the reat of thier lives with the names ugly and butthead.
