This looks like something we'd do in Michigan I'd try it ~ looks like a fun rush.... but would rather be flung toward the water... not sure about all those trees... !
My son Riley, three years ago when he was 11, rode the "Slingshot" at the Alaska State Fair two times. He loved it. After seeing this video clip of the "home version" of the "slingshot", he said; "I'd pay money to do what that girl just did". Check out this website, and maybe one of you smart people (I only know whut luv is) can post a pic of the "vertical sling shot" that my son rode that is at this site:

It is my personal experience that my bones can and do break.
As this has happened to seven differant bones and I remember the pain. There is just no way that you will get me to do that.
My luck would be that when I got to the end it would break and then I would.
Through personal experience I found that the flying is ok. Its the sudden stop at the end that causes the pain.
You have not lived until you break your bones 4 at a time.
