Speakers and a microphone is not the best because of feedback. They can be used though, if you keep your speakers as far away from the mike as possible.
The best thing is a headset mike and earphone combo.
Or just use your telephone to call in and put in the number it shows in the upper right corner of talkshoe. If you have free long distance then that would be cool.
Once you log into talkshoe, just search for greasespot and you can find it.
Then it's that upper right corner that has all the numbers you need.
I think you have to click it to show the numbers, if I recall correctly.
Dooj, that's what I do. I log into the talkshoe episode and dial in on my cell. It's worked fine and I like that I can walk away from the computer and still hear the broadcast.

well, i knew i was going out of town to a very large wake this weekend
which is why i kept dodging making a commitment to this radio episode
not sure how long i was staying...or whether my mood would be fit for social consumption

I regret that tonight I want to just spend the rest of the evening doing as little as possible.
Can we wait till next weekend when it might be best for all, especially if Todd may not have the time or mental energy to do it now.

OK I downloaded talkshoe. I need to know if I can dial in with my computer and use speakers and a mike to listen and talk.
Also - if tonight doesn't work I won't be able to do it next weekend - I'd have to wait at least another week -
