You should have no problems you need to install gtk(Gimp Tool Kit) though .

But it wanted to change some windows files and I won't let it do that.

It's built for Linux mainly so I'll leave it alone.

Not that much into it, what I have does what I need it to do.

I've been using it for years on both Linux and windows. And it's very good. Not quite up to par yet with photoshop but then I'm very happy with it.

ok, added gimp and this version is better

doesn't change any pertinent files-i know of anyway

used the windows installer
