We tried it last year. talkshoe.com. Lets you do a live show. You call in by phone and on screen there is a chat room. People go in a queue to talk and we pick them one by one.
I've been trying to get back on here to respond for a few hours now. I think we will do it next Saturday, I'll try to line up a guest and then give some instructions.

I completely don't understand that part.
at the beginning everybody is on hold and listing to pawtucket interview a guest
then one person at a time is took off hold to asked questions or just add to the subject
it is done as orderly as possible but everybody may not be able to talk each time but pawtucket does his please to make it fare depending on how many show up
I am hoping for everybody to show up but it depends on the time and day
Saturdays I am not home all days but I can listen later
But maybe we should set up a googlegroup or something to alert people via email to tune in. I think it would be more productive than a thread. I'm doing good if I get to GSC a couple of times a month nowadays. An email would be a good communication tool here.

The server facility suffered damage, but no one was injured. And to their credit, most sites were available all day (except my area)

Just saw this, so glad I didn't miss the podcast. Have missed our Sunday afternoon chats via talkshoe. Have my calendar marked for this Friday, so hope I can tune in for the "try out".

That's a good time frame - I wish we'd do more things like this around that time... It's hard to goof off from work with the little ones running amok and they're in bed by 8PM.

You should go in now and register at the site.
