blackberry global 8830 phone cons

Anyone hear about these phones? A friend of mine is on his 3rd one as they get very hot (temperature) after about 10 minutes and he can hardly hold onto it (it gets that hot)

I don't use a blackberry... even the cell phone I use is 5 years old...

Don't use a Blackberry unless your employer provides it. They're not as good as the iPhone or most Windows Mobile based phones (such as the Samsung Blackjack or any of the HTC phones.) I use Windows Mobile, although it's the $50 (HTC) T-Mobile Shadow, so it isn't bulky like the others.

Sorry. No idea. I get a new cell phone every two years when I renew my contract with Cingular/AT&T - it's whatever they're giving away for free at that time and usually not the latest and greatest, but I'd still be using my first cell phone if they didn't offer free ones... I'm not much of a phone person. ^_^
