I "got into the Word" in June, 1985; brought to my 1st fellowship by Norma Kehrer; I was in the U.S. Air Force at the time, stationed at Castle AFB, California. Norma brought me to a fellowship in Snelling, California, the home of Gordon & Roberta Gray. I took the foundational class of P.F.A.L. in September, 1985... life-changing, of course... especially for me in regards to KNOWING that I had Christ inside and that I was heaven bound. Also in the class was - among others - Andy Rice and Elizabeth (Libby) Montgomery.
I "went W.O.W." after the Rock of Ages, 1986; serving as a Word Over the World ambassador in Laramie, WY (with Gregory Englert, Augie, and Jerry). Mario & Darlene were Corps there (last name forgotten, but Darlene is Canadian - from Calgary).
Served on the California Limb staff - in Stockton, CA - with Rev. Doug Seed after the W.O.W field; Lorraine and Robin Varne were good friends there. I also met and married Karen Sanford (6th Corps) while there - in 1987/88.
We moved to Roanoke/Salem, VA where we fellowshipped with Ron/Linda Webster. For a while Karen and I ran a fellowship, then we merged with Ron & Linda's fellowship, with me doing the Wednesday night fellowship. Karen and I later moved to Nashville, TN; there, we were involved with Rev. John & Holly Hill's fellowship (in Brentwood, TN).
Our daughter, Jane Krysten, was born in November, 1993. Different issues led to Karen and I getting a divorce in 2001. I then lived in Yosemite Valley, Yosemite National Park, CA for 4.5 years; then I lived in Colorado Springs, CO for a while; then Rapid City, SD (where Karen and my daughter, Jane, now live). I'm currently in Colmesneil, TX for a while, staying with my Dad.
I really loved my time fellowshipping with all the believers... ESPECIALLY so at the Rock of Ages... next best thing to the Gathering Together!
I really look forward to the next BIG family reunion when we all meet in the air!

Welcome... I don't know where any of those people are now, but I also was in the USAF when I first got involved in TWI... in Oct 1974, Lajes Field, Azores.
WOW David, you lived in or near Yosemite National Park for 4.5 years. That is my favorite place on earth. Where did you live there? What kind of work did you do there?
yes, the tree is a Ponderosa Pine; its in Yosemite Valley, Yosemite National Park, CA - where I lived for 4.5 years. You can see my FLICKR page for lots more photographs. I worked for the "official concessionair" for Yosemite: Delaware North (the most corrupt company, in my opinion, that I've ever worked for)... I did a lot with photography there; thus my reason for being there... also going there was a way to "heal"... Yosemite - certain areas at least - is the closest that I've ever been to Paradise... if you will be going - or if you know of anyone visiting, feel free to email me for suggestions or advice...
I was a Security Specialist in the U.S.A.F. - stationed at Grissom AFB, IN and Castle AFB, CA... I wanted to stay stateside, because I had hardly seen any of my own country at that time... I was in from 02/82 to 02/86... for a while there in 1985, there was quite a movement of God with PFAL and believers... being a Security Specialist really allowed God to teach me about revelation and other areas...
I'll see you in the air!!
