Toilet Training Elephants

For any of you parents who thought toilet training your kids was tough, try this on for size.

Trying to keep unsightly droppings off the ground, elephant handlers at the Chiang Mai Zoo in Thailand are attempting to toilet train seven elephants. The beasts are being trained to sit like a human on giant white concrete toilets, which can be flushed by pulling on a rope with their trunks.

No mention if the male elephants are being trained to put the seat down when they're finished.

There was a small circus that came to the little town 20 miles away. In the middle of the performance nature called. Trust me it was a memory that I could do without. The droppings were about 6" deep and 2' around. Don't forget the aromma either.

I understand why they are trying

There was another circus, forget the name. They found a novel way to get rid of the stuff- sell it for fertilizer. The poor people that bought the stuff found it was the quickest route to the death of a garden..

I dunno, McHammer. Every time Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey come to Chicago, people are lining up with their wheelbarrows and claiming that it's so rich, their gardens go wild.

Maybe the folks you're talking about don't let it season enough, or maybe it needs to be mixed with something.

I think that's it. Have to let it "breath" heh heh.. but the fresh stuff can kill even weeds.
