Mystery and Money

In the past 30 years, since 1974......it seems to me that twi WANTS its "international headquaters" to remain sanctioned and closed from the public, a mystery (of sorts).

In twi's early years, at least vpw traveled the country and visited twigs. Also, there were lots of state meetings and region meetings with vpw as the guest speaker. Today, it's a total reversal....its seclusion.

Yes, you can come to the Sunday teaching....but please leave, immediately. ;)-->

Yes, you can visit during the week....but will be escorted by a guest buddy. -->

Yes, you can call the board of directors....but they're in a meeting. :D-->

Yes, you can phone staff friends at night....founders hall has phone access in the hallways.

Yes, you can bring your branch to hq....but why come and not hear a Sunday teaching?

Yes, you can look at twi's financial books....but don't you TRUST them???

Yes, to remain mysterious....is an image builder and a money maker!!!

Maybe they are looking to attract the right kind of personality, kind of like a country club. Perhaps they think that "anybody who's anybody" is willing to put up with this kind of snubbing, fork out unreasonable fees, put up with their bad manners, and keep coming back for more, just for a chance to be part of "da club".

And look at the location. The location says a lot. Just where you want da club, not in a easy to find metropolitan area. Has to be in the middle of a cornfield in the "wilds" of northern Ohio. Only distiguishable landmark is a fish shaped sign on the corner of Wierville road and "highway" 29. Not too many going to find it unless they REALLY want to..

And to think they make fun of the Catholics and the secrecy of the books and records they have that they wouldn't let vee pee access to.

Remember how much more revelation and depth of the verd he could have taught us if only they would have allowed him access to their sacred texts?

Funny how it was touted as such a "bargain". Just think, get 80 to 90 percent of your questions answered, only fifty bucks or so. I think we really paid later.

It's a mystery how some of us have money after all the crap..
