I don't recognize it.

hopefully one of our other players will know it. It's quite a familiar song, though you might not be associating a melody with the lyrics. George

I'm still not familiar with this one George.

The New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, San Diego Padres, Philadelphia Phillies are all out of this 2025 post season. The Los Angeles Dodgers are the odds on favorites to repeat as World Champions. Of those still in it, the Toronto Blue Jays along with the Dodgers are playing the best baseball right now. I usually follow the post season every year and somewhat get more interested in baseball each year after the all-star break.

We can go dancing, we can go walking As long as we're together Listen to some music, maybe just talking Get to know you better 'Cause you know I've got So much that I wanna do, when I dream I'm alone with you It's magic You want me to leave it there, afraid of a love affair But I think you know That I can't let go If you change your mind, I'm the first in line Honey, I'm still free; [Title] If you need me, let me know, gonna be around If you got no place to go when you're feeling down If you're all alone when the pretty birds have flown Honey, I'm still free; [Title] Gonna do my very best and it ain't no lie If you put me to the test, if you let me try George

(Peter Sellers once saw the original of " the Producers," by accident. He thought it was so funny, he took out an entire page ad and posted an unsolicited testimonial about how funny it was. This saved both the movie and Mel Brooks' budding career.) OK, moving on from here since it's been more than 3 days..... we linked in with Nathan Lane, so we can't link out with him. We can go with Matthew Broderick, Uma Thurman, Mel Brooks, Jon Lovitz, Will Ferrell, Michael Mc Kean, David Huddelston, Debra Monk, or John Barrowman- provided, of course, you know something else they did to link TO. (Mel Brooks voice acted in the movie, and appeared on camera very briefly at the end.) So, let's see. Barrowman I know mostly from a lot of TV appearances. Some of the others, I probably would have to look up to link, depending on my memory that moment (Huddleston, Monk.) So, I'll go Michael Mc Kean Clue Tim Curry He's been in a number of movies, where he appeared prominently. You should be able to link him fairly painlessly.

At this point, there's been multiple movies with certain names, so adding the year sometimes is important. There have been 3 different movies called "Batman"- in the 1960s with Adam West, in the 1980s with Michael Keaton, and a few years ago with Robert Pattinson. (Yes, all theatrical releases.) Some of them have nothing in common other than the same name. ("Running Scared" and "Running Scared" come to mind, and you may recall there was more than one "Inside Out" movie, one was a kid's animated movie, one was not. And so on. The 2nd " Producers" movie was, in effect, a remake. The original inspired a Broadway musical, and the new movie is based on the musical. It has a LOT of scenes that weren't in the original, characters who weren't in the original, musical numbers that weren't in the musical. For the most part, the actors in the remake are a lot more famous than the actors in the original. (Hans Liebkind's actor was good, but not so famous in the original, but in the remake, you'd recognize him in a second. Nobody remembers the name of the actress in the original who played Ulla, but in the remake, a famous actress played her.) I actually prefer the original, but Mrs Wolf prefers the remake, and both of us enjoy watching either version. In the original, Zero Mostel played Max Bialystock, but Nathan Lane played him in the remake, and that's the link I left up. If you like comedies, you should see either version when you can. I think the remake has a broader appeal among adults, for musical numbers and so on. I freely admit my favorite lines from either version are in the remake. (" Alvin!")

That's the wrong "The Producers." You're thinking of the one from 1967 (in which case one could go with Mostel, Gene Wilder, or Dick Shawn). I don't remember who was in the remake. George

We don't give a damn about no trumpet playin' band. That ain't what we call rock & roll. -
That's the "go to" more times than I can count. Between George and you WordWolf, I've seen this posted countless times. The trouble is, I have never seen it, I think Zero Mostel(sp) or something like that was in it, but I wouldn't have a "go to" to link them. At least it wasn't a Super Hero movie I didn't know. Sorry, not to digress here. I'm just trying to get my turn in.

You probably will be, when I post the chorus. George
