  2. So it isn't any of those names I quoted then I gather? No. So we're talkin' a current famous actor I suspect. Then I'll take a *wild guess*.....Tom Hanks.
  3. It's clear to me George that waysider is suggesting that someone put something up!
  4. "Don't rush me- I'm a'thinking. And my head hurts." "Did you ever get the feeling that you was bein' watched?" "Why did you pour ink on my head?" "Now don't try to get away! I am more muscular, more cunning, faster, and larger than you are... and I'm a genius. While you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten. So, I'll give you the customary 2 minutes to say your prayers." "I'm sorry, mac, but the lady of the house ain't home and besides we mailed you people a check last week!"
  5. That's a shame, Rudolf. If you had been correct, I would have rewarded you with a spider goulash.
  6. This show had a single episode with Desi Arnaz. Also appearing in the episode was Desi Arnaz Jr. In effect, he played Desi Arnaz in a few scenes. In the same episode, someone else briefly played Louis Armstrong ("Satchmo.") Desi himself played Roy Nitti in at least one scene, and spoke as himself. He also did a poetry reading. Later, he did a musical performance, both singing and with the conga drum. Strictly speaking, Jr did not play Sr on stage, but for most people, it probably worked out the same. He played Ricky Ricardo, in effect pretending he was Desi Sr playing Ricky Ricardo.
  7. No, nothing that recent. Both actors were alive and performed on the same stages before a live audience for the same episode, neither was there through archival footage.
  8. Today
  9. All I'm getting from these quotes is a corny Southern accent. "Green Acres"? George
  10. Are you offering a Free Post, or are you preparing us for your next one? George
  11. "Cold Case"? That show was about recalling past events to solve an unsolved crime (usually murder). Junior could have played his dad in the flashbacks. (I'm not sure if Senior was still alive when Cold Case ran, though,) George
  12. Chantal should have some moderate impact on the Carolinas and Virginia: i: George
  13. Yesterday
  14. "Don't rush me- I'm a'thinking. And my head hurts." "Did you ever get the feeling that you was bein' watched?"
  15. Famous like in the first 2 categories, as in "we want him to star in our movie" level of stardom, as in "he played a starring role in the following movies" level of stardom. The director found he couldn't refuse this actor a role in the movie because he couldn't pass on the chance for this actor to be in the movie. (Due to the actor's level of stardom and so on, not because of the movie content or format or any other reason.)
  16. This show had a single episode with Desi Arnaz. Also appearing in the episode was Desi Arnaz Jr. In effect, he played Desi Arnaz in a few scenes. In the same episode, someone else briefly played Louis Armstrong ("Satchmo.")
  17. No. I thought this would be easy, but I doubt there are any quotes more familiar than these from THE PATRIOT. FREE POST!! George
  18. Fun fact: Chuck Wagner (Automan) performed the role of Jekyll/Hyde for the national tour of the 1997 Broadway musical. And he was really good.
  19. Help me out with this WordWolf, would this famous actor be an A-actor like a Matt Damon or, a Robert DeNiro or, a Harrison Ford, or a Paul Newman, or a Bruce Willis, or a B-actor like a Michael Caine or, a Robert Downey Jr. or, or, a Wilem Dafoe, or, a John Goodman or even, an A B-actor, like a Kevin Bacon or, a Dan Ackroyd or, a Michael Keaton or a John Travolta? Or even a C-actor like a Paul Giamatti?
  20. Thriller "There's a world where I can go and Tell my secrets to"
  21. This sounds familiar, but I don't know it. George
