You're missing an option. The Way believes that the commandment to "lie not to one another" in Collossians is contained in the church epistles and is addressed solely to "the church". Since they claim to be the "one true church" and everyone outside of their organization is outside of the "household"-- they are under no obligation to tell you the truth. They are wrong on every point, but that's what they choose to believe.
