  1. Craig looking at me in a one on one: "i think the best thing you can do is leave here" (corps 7). I did and it was. next time i saw him he came over and shook my hand with his "fu" finger stroking my palm.....
  2. I don't know that they do.... I know Annette and Darlene the others have not heard of in sometime.
  3. ok, here's my incident at HQ: Went up to build the auditorium, got married to the love of my life who VOLUNTEERED to work. She and i decided when summer came it would be good for our children for her to spend the summer with them and not volunteer at HQ for that period. When she notified Brown that she would be taking the summer off she was told "NO YOU WILL NOT". I then told her to tell him her HUSBAND had told her she would be taking off and if there was any discussion it should be with me. My wife and i are out riding our motorcycle on the weekend and decide to stop by HQ to see what if anything was going on. There's a cookout and my once best friend and business partner who i got into the ministry and whom is now my foreman walks up to me and tells me he would like to talk. When we get off to the side he tells me because my wife will not be working i can "look for a new job as of MONDAY morning". I had been there about a year and told him no problem, she would work. Walked over to my wife and told her what was said and told her i was up for leaving how did she feel. Monday, she got a UHAUL, I went in to get my 1 week vacation pay, loaded up the truck and GONE. As far as i'm concerned there was not one person in that heirarchy that was walking with God in that situation. That was 1985 i guess. Now that i hear what happened to so many others i realize i was blessed to be put in that situation and GOT OUT.
  4. yes, the credit union was definitely in play when we built the auditorium. So '83 or '84 it was certainly up and running.
  5. I left the 7th corp, somthing i can THANK loy for Returned to build the auditorium, "HQ" and the protocols set in place were so wacked out, religous, and "out of alignment and harmony with God's word" I would NEVER consider going there to hear their bs, fellowship, or associate. They only have done one thing right in my book; thrown out all those who stood up for God's people, Loved God's people and and acted on Godly principle no matter how insignificant the act. That leaves "them" to waller in their own sh.... Leave them lie for everyone's sake.
  6. DO NOT go back. I tried that, as so many others have. As stated earlier in this thread, craig was only one of the manifistations of the disease process there. I found it only had gotten worse but not immediately evident. It took months to begin to see beneath the veil. Hell, even Dr. was complaining that it had turned religious and that many chosen for various positions were chosen due to anything BUT their believing. Being away only made my fellowship with God more personal. God will make a way for you and put people in you life also. Be patient, HE can make the stones to rise up... Jeff
  7. QUOTE(likeaeagle @ Nov 12 2005, 10:26 PM) what a unique job you have. great pics! oh, and the picture with me using the "scooter" and twin cylinders was shot by Henry Kendal, nobel prize winner. Discovered quirks.......
  8. QUOTE(likeaeagle @ Nov 12 2005, 10:26 PM) what a unique job you have. great pics! I enjoy it. I've got to test several rebreathers and components prior to release also. see my webpage: www.Divesafety.net
  9. I recall going to pick Jalepeneos during the 7th corp......riding in the back of a dump truck filled with standing corp to the fields and having jalepeneo battles......burned like hell if you got hit in the face.

  14. I agree with so many others; multiple selections are reasonable and accurate. The last straw was what i selected: invasion of personal life. ie: when my wife left her volunteer position for the summer in order to spend time with our children, i was told i could look for a new job. IMMEDIATELY, no notice. It was a sunday and i was told monday morning to begin looking.

    Mrs. W

Mrs. W is doing very poorly and is not expected to live but hours or days. The family is planning a service in St. Mary's so that EVERYONE may come and are welcome. Please remember her in your prayers along with the family.
  18. NO, it IS nice. Honestly, I may not always be bright enough to follow, but GOD is the leader, not some moron (aka martindale) who doesn't actually believe there is a god besides himself!
  19. yep, it's come to this: "be it unto you, twi, according to the words of The Lord" As you you have done, let it be returned to you, pressed down, shaken together and running over.
  20. the only ministers that would have considered being wrong were long ago sent down the road for considering anything but "the word of the lord martindale". if they wake up (ever) the present board and president and all will step down and call in those fired and sent packing for resisting the self serving, off the word, Godless edicts of "the church".
  21. ha ha ha ha ha, you weren't fakin' it, were you? You REALLY are a big dumb oakie Remember that "finger" you slipped me as a "welcome back"? BACK AT YA A$$ ole.
  22. i would take our youthful, unfettered trusting enthusiasm that we lived, in love, as a body. I'd give it back to everyone. "There is no use trying" said Alice, "one can't believe impossible things". "I dare say, you haven’t had much practice" said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast".
  23. one of several things: 1)first i'd laugh, probably somthing like a madman. if they didn't hangup on me then: 2)"get thee behind me satan" if they were still there: I'd tell them to write every single believer and clergy they had wronged admiting their wrongs to them and making amends wherever possible. then i'd hang up.
  24. woops, hope this is not a repeat; I did know the Ryans. Never saw them after i left the 7th corp as i seperated myself from the way at that point. Shamefully i answered the call to come to hq to help build the auditorium. Actually happened at a good time....but after 2 years on staff, left in a HURRY!!!! "There is no use trying" said Alice, "one can't believe impossible things". "I dare say, you haven’t had much practice" said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast".
  25. ummm....about craig God didn't happen to actually say Clark? "There is no use trying" said Alice, "one can't believe impossible things". "I dare say, you haven?t had much practice" said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast".
