true. So.. I take what I can get .. or give.. I guess. some people.. all I can do is make them laugh.. so what. :) can't demand of anybody that which they do not want to give.. I've told some people.. you don't owe me a damn thing..

I've only been able to have this kind of intimacy with perhaps two people in my lifetime.. and from what I've seen, I'm "lucky" to have had that much. sex doesn't even come close.. It's like.. irrelevant.. Usually.. my impression.. people think "what the hell do you want.." communion. I have a few more theories.. Some people think we were originally one entity.. somehow now we're fragmented.. only thing I'll say.. any soul I have met has brought just a little more wholeness to my life..

I have a few more "families" than those here..

sometimes.. I've learned to be happy with what I can get.. Personally.. I'm looking for the level of intimacy that most people are not willing to go to.. no, I don't want to sleep with them.. or their neighbors, or cousins.. sometimes.. all I can do is get a laugh.. :)

Including: Mike.. Oldies.. YOU.. I've chosen to call friend those who GREATLY disagree with what I think.. I dunno.. ya know.. these ARE living souls that post here.. :)

the only waste or loss I have ever seen.. is when someone willingly closes the door.. call it a weakness or whatever.. I personally, can't close it.. on practically anybody. I'm what I am.. but I usually end up telling myself it's not about me anyway..

you might be suprised.. There is not a single human being that has crossed my path, that there has not been a reason..

sometimes we really, really need this guy (or girl?).. and don't want to exactly admit it.. I think the ego is the thin skin, the thin shell that holds all of this "mess" together.. :) I don't think it's exactly illusion as some have said.. just another necessary part for this existence.. can be as small as it has to be, as large as is necessary..

Yeah. people want to connect.. they're looking for SOMETHING.. hopefully from YOU.. or me.. usually some damned religious doctrine or dogma, or adherence gets in the way.. I've cried for some individuals.. I'm sure some have, for me..

What the voice of 6 billion individuals sounds like.. white noise.. some people have been able to hear it..

This is how many of "you" there are.. at the least. 6,615,362,139 Staggering, isn't it? But who's counting..

what if.. what if a person's (or mine for that matter) search for "truth" led oneself outside of the box.. well.. the contents are certainly of more value than the container.. that is unless someone would beg to differ.. :)

actually, the thought was.. it isn't exactly relevant whether he was "right" at any given point or not.. I've had my share of being beaten over the head with "rightness"..

Why have logic, when you can have some juicy, scratch the itchy ears conspiratorial theory to get folks to round their wagons with yours.. well.. for one thing.. if they keep it up.. planning honeymoons and such around these sites as to remove bricks for forensic "analysis".. pretty soon, the buildings won't even be there any more.. "see? Wasn't ever there.."

That's OK.. I tend to enjoy theoretical anything.. but I dont' ignore practical, or behavioral "anything" either.. :)

Some people think that we all are connected.. that would make the "issues" pretty close to infinite.. :)

How many of "you" are there? I think a few more than most are willing to admit.. Freud divided "me" into three (practically?) distinct entities. ID EGO Superego He thought the ID was "me" as a baby.. everything about "me".. getting *my* needs met.. then the Ego develops.. tries to figure out how to feed the ID.. then the Superego.. analyzes consequences.. figures out the proper rules for the other two to function without any real negative ramifications involved.. rules of society and such must be adhered to. Can't just kill your neighbor to take his food, to meet the basic needs of life.. I really think we are far more complex.

Too bad Paw doesn't have a "new age" section.. or a "Just Plain Ludicrous" OK.. you threw down the gauntlet.. let's see what happens. Probably be pretty easy to beat it to death with a bible or something.. I'll start, not too deep.. I tried with the reincarnation stuff.. but not too many takers.. :)

I have a few theories.. how many of "you" are there really.. most people can integrate the component parts without too much of a problem.. most of us are made of literally millions of component parts.. all of them alive.. may be the wrong board for this kind of thing.. :) who knows...

Ya know.. it would be a good thing if one had more than one personality..

Honestly.. I wouldn't ask anything from another human being that I myself wouldn't be comfortable, or even happy to provide.. I don't even know if it is fair to ask. people are.. well, people.. even if you THINK you know them..
