  1. I've learned to respect some people's rituals though, even if they are not exactly Christian in origin or character. I may not need them.. but sometimes others need a point of focus.. Sometimes the ritual is a starting point, a point to jump off at..
  2. They payed for his Master's.. maybe he knew he didn't have the "stuff" to pull off a doctorate..
  3. I really think.. he sold out his children's and grand children's inheritance.. for almost unbridled power and a few "comforts". The "corporation" got the farm, and isn't exactly going to give it back.. Sad.. most of them can't freely set foot on the grounds he's buried in..
  4. This is a pretty revealing statement as well.. Double speak. I own it, but I don't own it. I can teach in it, and use it.. but I don't have to pay taxes on it.
  5. Naw.. that's a Groundhog cousin. I think it's Phil, blowing away an early spring..
  6. Ham

    Holocaust

loy said "the Jews are not more God's chosen people than the Apache Indians.." I wonder if he has that little gem decopaged on the cover of his resume..
  7. OH yes. Quite dangerous, especially if you give one a light saber. Scores of bystanding civilians were wounded and maimed during this ferocious battle between two Jedi Squirrels and one Squirrel Sith Lord.
  8. From his track record, I don't think his profile fit any other qualification. Unless you qualify being married, while bullying the wife and chasing any skirt not attached to the floor with hammer and nails being the description of "husband of one wife".. ALWAYS had anger issues.. never a time I can think of, he didn't or wouldn't accept some kind of lucrative "gift" from admiring, adoring, and financially strapped "followers".. I helped buy the twig hopper.. I think one of the harley's.. and the auditorium that has (had?) his name on it.. I coulda used the money to eat better at the time. Squeezing it for all it's worth.. "apt to teach" was about the only one, in my opinion. And he even went to the dark side of the force on that one.. taught some real vile stuff. How the senses world was gonna get the government to back and execute me because of da word.. but like they said in the sixties.. if you can't play well, play loud.. he certainly could play loud..
  9. I'd say not stupid.. just ill informed. Kinda like those who enshrine and showcase the stolen works of a *man* who fulfilled perhaps ONE qualification for leadership in the church, and bailed out on the rest..
  10. better qualify this.. not literally "cut". Don't want people to think I'm a vampire or something.. squirrely "creature of da night.."
  11. I wonder if a funeral procession following a closed casket down w. road would be appropriate..
  12. Even better, turn them loose on Washington.. they'd drive out the unsavory political element. George Bushytail wouldn't stand a chance..
  13. Law enforcement is missing it's "golden opportunity". Sure, a few kids might get mauled.. officers maimed.. but what if.. what if. They could covertly train massive armies of these little bits of fury on four legs.. and set them on a mission. Run gangs out of Orlando, Tampa, Detroit..
  14. True, but it also follows that believing and receiving are actually equivalent. That is, they are the same thing (assuming the claim is true). if a implies b, and b implies a, then the only logical conclusion is a is actually b. (or b is actually a). You'd then be able to read verses like "whatsoever you desire when ye pray, recieve that you believe them, and ye shall have them" You'd read about having receith like a grain of mustard seed.. "dost thou recieve that.." "Lord I receive, help my unreceith"
  15. Wow.. Sometimes.. people don't have a clue what they really are.. :)
  16. hmm. probably the only reason I survived into the twenty-first century.. Hey.. I have a copy of the book.. I'll share. :) Even have Kesey's Garage Sale..
  17. The greatest light in life.. I've seen from those, or the one cut most deeply..
  18. Not being cynical or harsh or anything.. but I think "the body" is going to always be bleeding.. maybe sometimes less, maybe sometimes more.. I think we are all damaged.. just the nature of things.. part of the agreement.. I haven't met a single soul that is not.. even Gandi admitted he was damaged goods.. in a way.. I have a theory.. when we're cut.. we bleed light.. :)
  19. Naw.. just probably smoking a little pot or something..
  20. I figured I was about eight years old or so, when it may have gone by.. Ma would have had me by the ear.. "get back in the house this instant.. young man.."
  21. hmm. Make sure the bus has proper dayglo colors, and "Fuurther" properly embossed on it.. if it pulled up here on Main Street.. I'd get on..
  22. "run away, run away.." A friend of mine claims that the animals will inherit the world after the oil is gone.. :)
  23. two pages later.. I would vote for this one as the most meaningful post. Isn't "da Teacher of da Verd" on the top of the system? Yet the "word" if you believe it.. puts it at the bottom.. able to move a crowd, or a few individuals. See.. the moron may claim the title "teacher".. apt to teach, or allow others to bestow this honor upon his or herself, but if the person is not counterfiet, I would say the rest of the qualifications have to go with it, not just one. Simon the sorcerer could move a crowd..
