  1. Yep Exie.. I suppose somebody had to make some of the real decisions when Loy was going through some of his "fits".
  2. I think they were landscapers once also. They could take over grounds keeping and take care of all of those pesky moles.. Sorry Steve, heh heh.. I hope somebody who is really in the know can come around here and honestly answer your question!
  3. Ha ha ha ha ha ha... at least it may be more "comforting" than some of the stuff I have heard..
  4. When they were done with the auditorium, they'd have to rename it. "The Prevailing Water Out of the Light Sockets Auditorium".
  5. Absolutely. They could do quite a job on the plumbing in the auditorium! Heck, they were even dentists once. Somebody could finally fix Rosies teeth..
  6. Sorry to ruin a perfectly good question, Steve.. but if the three stooges were the new bot, things may finally be a little funny.
  7. Overseer of finances: Mr. Magoo Trunk Coordinator: Stalin Donna Coordinator: Rosie New Bot. The Three Stooges.
  8. That is a good point however.. what DOES it have to do with the Bible? Somehow, I bought into some of the stuff- but things eventually bothered me. On the one hand, we have preached an Almighty God, able and willing to do ANYTHING, and then on the other hand, somehow, he needed OUR help to get it done. Not just "simple believing" any more, but look at all the conditions. Tithe (sorry, old wineskin- minimum giving of 15 percent, more later), have to consult the supposed "experts" on any decision, small or great. Can't go anywhere by yourself. Have to go at least by pairs lest da adversary jump you like jumping's going out of style, account for where you are, what you're doing, who with, when you have sex, do you have enough sex? Have to submit a schedule at least a week ahead of time of all your activities, and god have mercy on you if you stray from it- etc, etc, etc... all because somehow the Almighty God needs your assistance, to "schedule" da adversary out of your life. Honestly, I began thinking God must be kinda small. I finally realized that was not the case. THEIR god was too small. All the crap that came with the full time corpse thingy really proved it.
  9. Good question! (though may be rhetorical..) That is finally what I started asking myself. Like, what does not mixing your breads and vegetables at each meal have ANYTHING to do with the bible, or being a "believer" for that matter..
  10. 11. Don't hire a good lawyer, save your money. Hire a bumbling idiot, or try to represent yourself. Da judge may feel sorry for you..
  11. Hey Belle.. I remember a couple of them. I think the "leaders" competed with each other to see who had the most, and farthest reaching spittle. Glad they did not discover chewing tobacco..
  12. One of the real sad parts of this is, most innies have no idea of what's going on. Sometimes I think it would take Ole Rosie being hauled off in chains, but they'd find some way of hiding that..
  13. I have been thinking.. what do they have to gain by supporting this guy? True, Loy was the "charismatic cash cow" of the organization. And they stood behind them to the end. Cripe, they made him head over the "research" dept before things got real ugly, and they were fully aware of what he had done, for YEARS. But this guy.. what gives? I think they are desperately trying to salvage whatever perceived hopes they have of keeping their little cult afloat. Makes me wonder how many innies have been informed of this. From the suprised posting of one of them, I would venture to say not many. Doesn't make much sense to me. Maybe they still have the arrogance to think that the "old wineskin" tactics of old will save them- keep the few followers left in isolation and ignorance about the situation, and attribute the legal ramifications to "attacks of da adversary". Protect and hide the perpetrator, if they could get away with it. Intimidate and/or threaten anybody that knows anything about it. Lie, beg, borrow and steal to keep it quiet, at least as quiet as possible. "That the ministry be not blamed". I think it's a tactic that's doomed to fail.
  14. Lindy, What I saw around here- in the fellowships there were close to seventy plus really fine people. Now there are probably about half a dozen or so. Of those, I would rank all but two or three good, smart, self respecting folks. My opinion of one is that the person is rotten to the core. The other two, the local fellowship coordinators, I have not met, and have no idea or opinion about them. I only know they were long time staffers, probably released from staff to go figure out their own retirement and health care. I think the good guys that are left are just convinced they are doing the right thing. They really did manage to run off MOST of the good, smart, self respecting people around here. Same for the whole state. Anybody that had the capacity to be real mean, abusive, and able to blindly follow the company line, at least in a leadership position, seemed to be immune to this. I also knew a few of them, and they are still in the organization, running things. Maybe some of you know some exceptions to this- I only know what I saw. Most of the purge (at least here) was done when the corpses were to be full time. The subject of this thread brought back a few memories, really got me going a little. I think they took what Loy did for the corpses and applied it to everyone else. In our state, the only one left who they considered qualified to run it was a really stupid, nazi-type individual. Fully convinced that two plus two is equal to five because "the MOG told me so". It would not even be worth the effort to try to argue with the guy. (I've forgotten more about two plus two equals five than you'll ever know.. heh heh.) We were pretty isolated too, and did not have a clue what was going on in other areas. Heck, we did not even know anything when they ran off Wayne, Geek, Cat, and the other smart folks. Igotout got out after I was out. Just never heard anything about them anymore. But I'll bet the corpses did. Lindy, I hope that clarifies my post. I only know what I observed in my area, and I think my observation is fairly accurate. I in no way intended to slam your parents or any other good folk that are left in that ungodly situation. Maybe we were taught right about evil being a parasite, requires good to even exist. Makes me feel sad for the few left in, the ones that I know. Severed friendships, severed family relationships, but they are convinced that it is the right thing to do. I imagine you can find some good in everybody- Mr. "bread and vegetables" included. I just could not find it in him. I dunno.. I was not born into the cult, but spent close to twenty five years of my adult life in that mess- that's gotta be pretty darn close. Long enough to practically forget what it was like living outside of some of the confines of the group. After over five years out, I am still discovering some of my individuality. And I still had some life outside of the group- I was not corpse or staff or anything like that. I almost cannot imagine what that must have been like. In a way, the full time corpse thing and additional pressure was the best thing they did, not for them, but for us.
  15. Lindy, no aspersions to them were intended.. I made sure I left a loophole- they ran off MOST, I think I said about all, of the good folks, because people like you and others still have relatives or friends in that are good and decent. I know a few of them, and don't have anything bad to say about them either. I sure feel bad for what they did to your parents. It does prove a point- they chose to "ax" the good ones off the payroll. Still path of least resistance. It sounds like they don't have an evil or vindictive bone in their bodies.
  16. Heh heh heh.. kinda like Santa's evil helper I am..
  17. 10. A glazed look in your eyes will have a important contribution confirming insanity when mixed with chanting. This can easily be achieved by consuming a corpulent amount of tequila. The key then is to keep your eyes open. Indeed, you may not hear the judge instructing you regarding the chanting. A safer substitute is often practiced, sitting in a closed dark room, listening to "Beautiful Ohio" or "Earl the Christmas Squirrel" for several hours before the trial.
  18. Bob, it may be a good possibility. Any striking resemblences to my description? If you found impressions from the horses hooves in his forehead, we may have a positive identification..
  19. At one time, I did not have a very high regard for lawyers, or the legal system. From what they have to go through with these kind of numbnuts, I now think they earn every penney they get.
  20. OK Belle, you get the dubious honor of presenting Nr. 8.. How about for nr. 9, and I hope "Mr." Linder is still taking good notes: 9. Another good strategy would be to shave your head, eyebrows, in short all visible hair on your body. When things become even more tense for you in the courtroom, start chanting. Not really loud, but loud enough that you know you are noticed. Continue chanting at various times, acting as if you cannot hear the judges instructions for you to do otherwise. This can often times help if you choose to enter an insanity plea. This may be helpful, not only at trials, but during pesky, uncomfortable depositions.
  21. Yep. And of course it will have to be taught by the Hitlers, the lowest of the low, the only ones "qualified" to be marked as faithful in "the household". Cripe, who can be left to teach it? They've run off just about all the folks that had any shred of smarts, decency and self-respect- or any real biblical insight, for that matter.
  22. Well, they have had a little experience in giving depositions to plaintiff's lawyers. I don't think the lawyers were paid enough.
  23. Belle, holy cow! I think even with an army of lawyers on the prosecution side, they would find it next to impossible to get an answer of "yes" or "No".
  24. Well, I think we could say one thing.. he did end up with a corps that was a lot like him! But this wonderful limb coordinator- full time corps. Unbelievable. I think he may have been slightly an exception to the rule. Martindale may have been twisted, evil, and generally a megalomaniac, but he was not that stupid. Maybe the guy got kicked in the head a few too many times by his pet horse in his youth.. I don't know.. but he was not only chosen to remain full time, but was ORDAINED, the "best of the best". Makes me wonder what the price for being clergy was, at least in recent years, shortly before martinfail's departure. And like a nice, "renewed mind" wafer, I set aside my suspicions as being "firey darts of da adversary". But I could not bring myself to the point of really trusting this guy. I think he paid "the ultimate price" for ordination, others have. Has enough "goods" on them, they could never dismiss him. Some may view it as conjecture, and maybe it is. But other similar suspicions have proven to be true. This one- no, at least not yet. The path of least resistance would DEFINITELY not include trying to sweep this guy under the rug. They axed whoever they thought would be not be a threat, or a minimal threat. Still it makes me wonder: what in the world was loy thinking, or was he thinking, Or did he just go off the deep end? Did he hear voices saying that they oughta go full time and think it was God talking to him? Maybe he was victim of Dr. Hoffman's "headache" remedy.. "Joshua, Vic is dead. therefore, arise, go, taking as many poor saps as you can with you, via the full time corps thingy, into da "promised land". You do not have to be afraid of the accountants; I will pay all the bills". Sounds pretty "biblical", heh heh. It couldn't be entirely attributed to ignorance either. He did somehow end up with a college degree, Jock or not. I kind of like threads of this nature. Reminds me about some of the questions and doubts that I sometimes had and just plain dismissed thinking "well, that just can't be right"..
  25. Yep. Chalk up another one for "infallibility". Maybe that's why it got so bad. Funny, a lot of the cuts could not be deemed "spiritually" right, either. I think they chose the path of least resistance. Get rid of anyone with an ounce of goodness, or sincerity. They would be less likely to come back and bite you in the foot. Those proven to be Hitler-like seem to be immune to this kind of treatment. He sure did end up with an "active" corps that was full time; but whew, look at what he ended up with. I have had a few suspicions for a very long time. The then limb coordinator here, yep, mr. bread and vegetables guy again, seemed to have the mental acumen of a jackass. I mean, really, really DUMB. Probably still can't negotiate himself out of a wet paper bag. But his wife! Wowser, she was a "looker"! And she was smart. I kept asking myself how such a idiot could be on the corpses full time honor roll, put in charge of a limb, and eventually put in charge of a region as the case is now. Only one answer seemed to keep coming up in my mind..
