Good post, Lorna. :) Yeah.....the tower of Babel analogy, twi's little subculture is at cross-purposes with the One Body of Christ and the blessings of God follow His true believers. Life is really good.....far away from twi's mandates and legalism.

In light of a new foundational class.... When the wap class made the rounds....it was much more out of obligation that long-standing innies sat thru it rather than excitement. I wonder how those longer..er..er standing innies think NOW?????

From one perspective, these staff men more align with the term Managing the Company Line rather than "corrupted top leadership????"........I mean, who really thinks of Roger M1tler as a top leader in twi? Wasn't he one of the foremen in way builders projects in gunnison, and at hq? And Delisle.....didn't he follow in the steps of J. Reynxolds, thru the international outreach dept and into the bod level after Reynxolds went over to purchasing? Heck, at this rate......Delisle could be overseeing the housekeeping dept by next year. Top leadership??? Hardly. Finally......twi has dethroned their MOG status mentality in daily practice. But in ritual.....VPW will always be their Founding Mog......and LCM will be their Honorary Mog. With wierwille, they still hold to his "colateral books" as the Text to measure truth and the snowstorm/gas pump revelation is noteworthy of "true household elitism" .......and martindale's policies of mark/avoid, present truth, sanctifying yourself, devil spirit discernment, no-debt policy, hard-nosed corps training, etc. are still very much in use today. The company men listed above as simply.....Flavors of the Month.....here today, gone tomorrow. The vanilla is the purity of the scriptures. But wierwille will always be the chocolate flavor. Martindale will be the staple strawberry. And, rivenbark is the butter pecan.

djs, The most telling part of these comments.......people who are currently serving at hq. For me, there are two sides of wayworld......1) hq and gunnison staff and 2) the field. For the staff.....IT IS THEIR DUTY (and job) to serve pleasantly. In the corporate world, the customer is always right. No biggy there. But.......do the staff go witnessing, spend their weekends stringing chairs, setting up for classes, making phone calls and following up on people>>????? Staffers live a corporate side of "in the know." Sure they might usher on sunday or something......BUT they didn't DRIVE FOUR HOURS and spend money on gas and food, and abs at the sts....and then drive four hours home and get their kids to bed by 10 pm. Staffers have a vested interest in promoting rosie's image. And, even if Rosie is "more pleasant these days".........it took the lawyers to advise twi, it took loads of people leaving, it took the settlement of a couple of lawsuits, it took Waydale and Greasespot.......to get twi to CHANGE. Talk about NOT walking with God.......talk about NOT following common sense........talk about NOT having any integrity........talk about NOT even at the standards of the corporate world...!!!!! I am NOT impressed.

rascal......I agree with you on the points stated above. A couple of weeks ago, I was visiting with a college girl whose parents are ex-wafers and corps grads. In our conversation regarding the early days and the corps program.....she didn't really seem to connect the dots of it all. Same goes for ck, I think. Heck, 1985 was 21 years ago........ :) Didn't I read somewhere in this thread or another one, that ck was 19 years old..?? If so, then he was born during twi's infamous "fog years".......and certainly, if his parents split from twi somewhere in this time frame, little ck might possibly be raised as a little wierwillite having no concepts of twi experience or the vernacular back then. Whatever.....it just sounds like he's a spunky kid like I used to be.

Graduated? Associate degree? 1985? I don't understand why ck is beating around the bush...........but, to me, it sounds like his parents were in Family Corps 9. Why the secrecy? If one "stands with vpw".......why wouldn't one want to own up to being a family corps grad, a program vpw founded???? From what I remember, vpw spent lots of time at Rome City the last year or so of his life.....reading thru the book, Bedside Manners with the inresidence corps. At this stage of life, and dealing with his eye.....vpw had mellowed considerably which would explain why he might have endeared himself to many at Rome City.

Yeah......and all this micro-management crap with time analysis scheduling....and marked in red when we didn't stick to our plan....was all passed down to us via the region guys. The grooming from upper leadership to the trunk on down to the field level was meticulously flawless. Following the dictates of that way of life.......was no life at all.....just micro-analysis existence.

djs.....could you be more specific? Who do you consider to be the new "top" leaders? If you want info on Rosalie......there is plenty here at GS. If you are suggesting Donna....same deal, more subtle. If you are asking about those 16th, 17th, 18th corps grads.......like Hxrney, De Lxlse, Rico, Rxpp, or Mc F.....then you have to realize that these guys operated (and still operate) in the shadows of lcm-mandates. From what I know in past experience, they strongly supported m&a policy, twi's no-debt doctrine, have silenced the sex/predator lcm scandals, trunk communication from Rxpp fixated on lcm fanaticism.......and thus, the principal offender remains martindale. For me, the aforementioned guys are small change......from the abuse laundering of veepee & lcm days. Imo, few here actually recognize their little minion mimicing. And, if you are talking about J. Reynxolds...........he was quickly demoted by rfr and given a bone in the purchasing dept. At one time, only Reynxolds and Lxnder were given trustee approval to check Waydale and later, GS, and report back. Those two guys were the core of the WayGB. Platiig didn't seem to last very long either in rivenbark's circle. Although the region men have leadership qualities....they also know from whence their paycheck comes. Thus, they just don't buck the system and are just glorified-followers....really. And then, the moneyhand could be classifed in a select group of the inner circle. For years, dotttie counseled women who were sexually abused by lcm. This information, too, is well documented in these GS threads. And Boob, he's too old to be an emerging "new top leader"......doncha think. Besides, he parrots the waybrain mentality to a T......not a true sign of a leader, for sure. Just like martindale slipping into Toledo in secrecy......twi, in 2000-2006 era, has gone "underground." Very few announcements on sts. Very limited written communication or mass mailings. And, the live wap classes replaced the face of the martindale ouster.........same material, mostly.......just different label. So, djs...............back to your question, NONE of the "new top leaders" have asserted anything other than lcm-mandated policy. Therefore, the martindale blunders and abuse continue to remain second only to those of vpw, which are well-documented. The little guys just haven't emerged from the shadows. And, in my dealings with some of them.......they only mouthed the barking orders from the chain of command. In an analogy, the twi leadership is very similar to what we were taught in the Defeating the Adversary class concerning the devil's kingom......in that, the layering and overlapping of a crocodile. The thick, overlapping texture is relatively impenitrable and safeguards the crocodile's survival. Twi is much the same.

On one of those corps teaching hook-ups.....when he was totally disgusted with the corps......he boldly declared, "I could run the whole U.S. trunk by myself. Just do all the teaching on hook-ups and run all the fellowships by myself." Yep, martindale could have run the whole thing and not broken a sweat.

Absolutely.....this new class will further distance twi from the lcm era of blunders. The guy was ousted and went undercover.....of course, his spider hole was found out and exposed here on GS. The martindale fiasco is a full-blown embarrassment......veepee put the mantle on the guy (ooops!)....don and howard (dumb and dumber) nodded in agreement on loads of decisions.......rosalie knew of craiggers sex-girls as early as 1995......and donna just kept looking the other way. Of course, twi didn't toss out lcm's stuff back in 2000. No way! They softened the approach.....they slowly backed away so that innies wouldn't get riled and leave. The hypocrisy is glaring. Not sure who will do the teaching..... But someone posted months ago that twi was considering two or three teachers to handle the class sessions.....similar to CFF, from what I've heard.

Yeah.........it started with signing the green card. And, shortly after.......don't let the devil trick you and miss any sessions of pfal. Seems like there were......small fears, medium fears, and BIG, UGLY, SCARY FEARS.

On another thread, someone mentioned this new class coming in March. From what I gather.......this is the new foundational class that is replacing lcm's wap class. I have some questions: 1) Is this new foundational class mandatory? 2) If optional (yeah, right?)....will innies be shunned if they refuse to take it? 3) Will the mark & avoid policy be enforced?......sweeping away the disgruntles? 4) Is this class free to graduates of WAP? 5) How long is the pre-qualify list to attend this class? 6) Who are the teachers? 7) Is this material just a rehash with a new label? The hoop-jumping has a NEW STARTING LINE. Now, would be a great time to exit their doors.

Absolutely......post away. :) When I exited twi after 24 years of involvement......lcm and co. started their character assassination scheme against me and my spouse. Our crime?? We no longer wanted any more corps assignments; we no longer wanted to move from place to place at their beckoned whim. Finally, the time had arrived for us to stake our claim in OUR lives, OUR future. Yeah....it was tough to leave our "friends" but NOT the corporate-hyped "household of twi." All of that garbage of crossing over the bridge to the promised land was childish-play games of pretend. Yep, the time had arrived. We opened the door.........and walked away. When Waydale came onboard in April of 1999......what a Godsend. It was so refreshing and reassurring to see so many others with similar views. The information was current. Month after month, other corps leaders were quiting......and telling their stories. By mid-1999 and 2000, six or seven region coordinators packed it in and split from twi. Things were happening at a fast pace. The Allen lawsuit was filed. And, martindale was ousted as per the advice from twi's lawyers. Here at GS.......more of the same. Lots of insight and advice and sparring. Differing points of view are refreshing. And, if identities were known around here..............heck, I probably know a good number of the corps folk here. So, Bagpipes.....hang in there and enjoy the rebirth of freedom and relaxation. And, journey onward with a knowingness and peace of a veteran traveler. May God strengthen your every step. :)

CKM, Peace and blessings. :) I commend you for coming to GS and actively participating. After 24 years of twi involvement, I know it took me awhile to de-waybrain. It's been some 8 years since I exited twi and God's blessings in my life have never ceased. None of those prophecies of calamity/death/destruction from twi's leadership came to pass.........God is good always. The cross-section of conversations and diversity here at GS is AWESOME. Enjoy it here.
