    Monavie

Hi RG, I know what this looks like. I think we all have done our fare share of MLM and quite frankly I can't stand the way they deal with people and their business tactics. It really reminds me of twi business tactics, if you will. I'll tell you what happened to me and my husband, and I hope it doesn't bore you all. Back in Oct. someone my husband new gave him a bottle of Monavie for free and asked him to try it for a week and let him know how he feels. No selling hype at all. My husband brought it home and told me that he would try it. I blew it off as another dumb MLM Co. Now, if you knew my husband, you would know the pain he endures on a daily basis. He has Perthes disease in his hips, and was going to a pain specialist for his jaw most of 2006. He can't take heavy pain meds, so he just takes Advil as needed, which was just about on a daily basis. Well, after about 3 days of drinking 2 oz in the morning and 2 oz at night he started feeling very little pain. He told me "I think this stuff is working, I'm going to get a month supply and see what else this will do. He hasn't stopped taking it since and is pain free. I just started actually taking it everyday now for about 1 month. And I too feel more energetic and my hips do not ache like they used at all. So, first and foremost, not only that it is a healthy nutritional drink packed with antioxidents, we definitly know that something is great about this product. So, all I'm doing is shareing something that works for me. We actually give out free bottles to share with others and people are receiving them with graditude, not being sceptical, which used to happen a lot with other MLM Co I was involved with. Get this.. The people under you Can make more than you. Their system is TOTALLY different. I'm still trying to understand it myself at this time. Not everyone that drinks Monavie wants to do a business. They drink it because they like it. That's what we did first. Now, I just want to share it and help people feel better. Hey, I'm a health care professional, I like to help people. So, all I can say, is try it , if you lived by me I would give you a bottle to try, and you see for yourself. And yes, there are many products of the Acai Berry out there now. Try them too to see if it makes a difference in your health. That's all that matters to me. If it works, then for for it. Remember the old saying.. The proof is in the pudding Thank you all for talking to me about this and checking out my site. You all are a great group of people. Sunnyfla

    Monavie

Hi everyone I haven't been here in a long time. I've been real busy. I wanted to share a great opportunity with you. My husband and I have been drinking Monavie juice for about 4 months. My husband has been pain free and no longer needs Motrin or any other pain medicine since he's been drinking it. My hips no longer ache either :) We were very scepticle in the beginning, but we both feel soooo much better and now we're sharing it with others. Here's our web site to check out the benefits http://www.mymonavie.com/RFAmortegui Nice to be here again, Take care, Sunnyfla
  7. Great Interview Paw and Chas! I'm sorry I didn't listen to this before. I haven't been in GS in awhile. But, today I decided to check it out again and listen to some of Paws interviews I especially can relate to what you said Chas about missing out on current events, music, movies and such. I too had my children in my mid-30's and my husband kids with me about being in the dark on some things that had happened in the world while I was in the ministry. He says " oh.. I forgot, you were in Neverland" And, I got braces 7 mos. ago. Something I could have done in the lost years as well. Well, it was good to hear your voice and how happy you are now. Peace to you, Sunnyfla
  8. You got it George!!! It's Maggie Mae by Rod Stewart
  9. Here's an EASY one :) Wake up______I think I've got something to say to you. It's late September and I really should be back at school. I know I keep you amused, but I feel I'm being used. Oh_______I couldn't help trying....any more.
  10. 1983, I took PFAL. Very life changeing at that time. I remember the believers were kind and loving and would go out of their way to help those in the household. I didn't see any bitterness towards others or the ministry. Everything was hunky-dory  Coffee houses Fun holloween parties Dinner Branch Potluck Parties Great friends!!! Fun times....then 1986 :( things started to fall apart in our area. Saddness People leaving Hopelessness Division and so on. I got divorced then went WOW in 1988-89 Time sure flys doesn't it??
  11. Live like you were dying by Tim Mcgraw Love that song :)
  12. BRAVO Groucho I don't remember a single one either. It was fear, fear and nothing but fear to be called upon. My heart was never into it :( You know.. the one thing they preached so often about was the one thing they installed in us all..... Be afraid....Be very afraid
  13. I knew it Rejoice The similarities were too much for me to handle. I met my husband as I was getting out of twi and since then we've tryed many types of MLM. I just couldn't stomach those meetings I would tell my husband it reminded too much of the ministry and how they did things. Of course he didn't understand because he wasn't involved with twi. But he too didn't like the tactics they used. I saw right through thier BS
  14. I have no problem telling people that I was in a cult. The subject rarely comes up anymore. And I would only talk about it if it was appropriate. Some people can't handle such topics, so I am careful about the subject. Sunnyfla.
  15. David, Im so sorry to hear of your loss My prayers are with you and your whole family. Frances
  16. :) That's why I can't get into anything to do with pyrimid type selling. Although, I've tryed many since twi and they all remind me of "moving the word" type tactics. I shudder at the thought <_<

    The Cone of Ernesto

Looks like we're going to get a whole lot of rain with this one. Most gas lines are intolerable. But hubby went out this morning and only had to wait 15 mins. Laundry's done. I'm making home made chicken soup. We have movies and popcorn. I think we're ready  My prayers are for all the GS Floridians. Sunnyfla
  18. How exciting for you and Kristopher. My kids were in Pre-K and were ready for Grade K But, when I first put my daughter in Pre-K, she clung onto my leg for the first week. I had to peel her off each time and walk away. It broke my heart. :( As soon as she couldn't see me, the crying stopped and she was fine :) Make it fun for him. I took pictures of them holding their lunchboxes and a few more in the classroom. Now we look back at those photos and a big kick out of them. Good Luck Chas, you'll be fine :) Sunnyfla
  19. I know someone who had been in TWI all his adult life, and attended a splinter group when he was kicked out with a bunch of others. He’s been sitting in a living room with the same kind of people, singing the same songs and hearing the same type of manifestations and teachings for over 30 years. There are seldom any new attendees. There’s no sense of community or charity there. Just the same-old same-old. He – and others like him – would have a great time going to a big, lively, active church! His social life would have a totally different outlook! But the mention of it gives him the willies. I’m not putting anyone down who attends a splinter group. I’m just wondering why they would never check out something that might be better – or different! What's the problem? As the poem suggests... "It isn't the church... it's you!" Whaddya think? Yup, that was me. It took me years to be able to admit that what I was taught could very well be wrong. I go to a wonderful church now. I'm involved in a Women's Bible Study. I don't feel superior anymore and THAT in itself was freeing to me.

  23. Thursday on the Todays Show they broadcasted this preacher who claimed to be Jesus. Evedently, he's been around for awhile. He has a huge following too. They call him "daddy" Check it out at the Today's Show Website http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3032633/ Go the Today Netcast Thurs. You know??? What is wrong with people? It's the most blatant form of insanity I've seen since Wako Tx. You should see the $$$ this guy is getting :o Totally disgusted, Sunnyfla
