Yeah Krys, wouldn't it be nice to make a home cooked dinner...... Bake cookies with your mom, take the kids to grandma's whenever they want to. What's so interesting to me is that God Almighty gave most of us Christian parents and they are not allowed to associate with them except on a scheduled visit or a few phoney phone calls. It's so off the Word and sick.

Imagine you have parents and you never see them. I suppose that Jesus had to leave his parents forever and never see his siblings again. Wrong.

I hate the way things went so wrong in TWI and I fault a fearful, paranoid leadership with this. Leaders that exist today to separate families. If your parents and siblings are believers they are in The Body of Christ and members in particular, so where is the Word in this stupid ministry.

Some of these people have been at headquarters for so long they don't even know how to exist in the real world. They have no clue as to what life is really about. When do they ever go witnessing? When do they ever undershepherd anyone. It's bogus bs.

Some of them will lose family and then they will realize what they did and gave up. All those years away from those that truly loved them the most. They are dispensible and don't realize it. They think that there will be loyalty to them. Yuch! They really are the unpriveledged ones and are so far away from the heart of God it's sickening.

Sorry for venting but it feels good.

  2. Ya know what's really sad is that the position of the WC could have had a wonderful effect on The Body of Christ had more WC walked solely with The Father and not by the revelation of their "superiors". We met so many tender-hearted WC that on their own as leaders, could have had a tremendous impact and inspite of their leader**** and some of them did have a great impact inspite of their leaders.

It really must hurt God's heart that the great potential for helping his people went down the tubes. What a waste.....and the money wasted from good hearted believers that thought they were building loving, leaders who wanted to serve God's people for God. Funny I bet none of them ever calls the people that sponsored them for years & says thanks.

Unfortunately I am not as giving as I used to be because of this, but I am more diligent as to where I put my money reserved for God's purposes

  3. OMG J*hn C*elar did an article on Followers of The Way, the Lord Jesus Christ, J C*elar is not a follower of anyone but himself; he should be thrown out on his butt (head), can't believe anyone would take his advice. PUKE!

He probably has 1/2 of his state on spiritual probation, they could never live up to his laws. The Grand Poobah himself. hahahahaha

    TKY Mike.

You took time to read it, at least one person got blessed.

  5. Hebrews 11:6  But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

As far as PFAL, it was the WORD that was taught that God has his blessings on. I would not give glory to any ministry or person, it was The Body of Christ functioning together at the time through the classes that were run that brought about deliverance. The class in itself had the Word in it so God was able to work thru his Word. It doesn't matter who, when or where, it's always the Word.

Was PFAL perfect, maybe not, I don't care, people received deliverance. If people got to the place where they were elevating the "class","people" over the Word, then they were being idolatrous. That is like TWI II worshipping The Bible over the Author.

So what I am again saying is that I learned more about God in the class than I had anywhere else. It was The Word being spoken. As far as plagerism, who owns the Word of God. If I do a teaching from the Word because of GOD's inspiration in my heart to help or bless someone, should I copywrite it? It was God working in me. If that person receives deliverance from what I wrote, should they forward it to help others. Maybe they would work what I send to them and see for themselves and then share it in a different light and send it on. God is still the author of anything that has to do with his Word.

Would any of us here think that Bullinger intended to write anything down that he did not want people to use to enlighten them to the knowledge of Christ? How can you take what a man (inspired by God) shares with you, try it, see results and not want to share it with others. You take the same teaching, see different things and you share what you learned. Since there is only one Word, you will repeat things you have learned but it's still God's Word, not ours when we speak or teach.

I really don't know how to explain it any other way. Plagerism is man's law. I believe in copywrites; however anyone putting together anything from the Word better give the credits to the Author of the Word because God has the copywrite on His Word. We are free to use it to learn from.

So this is my humble opinion and I understand that some may think otherwise and I respect that.

  6. Hi Tom,

"I have somewhat of a problem with the idea of bringing to pass the power of God in my life though. It may be literally quite true, but I'm just talking here, right? Trying to communicate. To my mind, the idea that I bring to pass the power of God in my life carries a somewhat godlike quality with it. No, that doesn't communicate...I have no problem with the idea of owning up to godlike qualities, but it seems to carry with it a quality that should be reserved only to God. I absolutely believe that we do the healing and that we have the awesome privilege to do so. I guess what I'm trying to say is that we are not the first agents involved, God is. Like Jesus did, we see the Father work and we work, and we can do nothing without him."

I believe from what I have learned and seen over the years that this is not an EGO type of thing where "I" do the healing, but "I" bring to pass the power of God in my life and that of those around me. This is an awesome priviledge, one that comes with responsibility. Yes people pray and make intercession, that too is not ego but a priviledge. I do not count this the same as Lucifer taking it upon himself to think he was something great. This is something that God commanded us to do. "(you) Heal the sick, (you)cleanse the lepers, freely you have received, (you) freely give"

I don't think Jesus thought it was ego to have God in him and now we have God in Christ in us. That is the enablement that give us the right and authority to (we) bring to pass God's will (beloved I wish above all things that tho mayest prosper and be in health...)for those that we minister to.

The "ego" part would come in, ie. (LCM) where one falls into the "pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall". Then I would have to agree with you but we are to guard our hearts against such "spiritual invasion" of our minds.

It was ultimately your believing that God would work in your situation that you took a stand, even to the point of believing in someone like Dr. W. to guide you in the right direction to receive your healing and you did. God ultimates always gets the glory.

  7. Diazbro:

"Someone gave you $35 to take PFAL. Thats a *Real* miracle ! God delivers.."

Interesting, I love it. I guess God was into PFAL huh! I would not trade what I learned in PFAL about God for anything. It worked then and still does. These healing attest to the power of GOD that we learned about in PFAL. Plagerism? Interesting that God didn't seem to care about that, only that His Word was being made known.

Tom Heller, you are a trooper and you brought to pass the power of God in your life. I believe we do the healing, just like God did the healings buy the hand of Paul. We have the right to heal and it's an awesome privledge. Just how God backed up all that he was to do with all the right people that he put into your life at TWI and beyond.

God is always amazing and I pray Tom that all your tomorrows will be rainbows.

  8. You mean the standard of the Word? That is the only standard I go by. I am sure God inspires His kids to make the correct decisions when they go to the polls based on their spiritual knowledge & natural knowledge.

I believe George Bush got in because he is a Godly man and does his best according to his ability and knowledge. He and his decisions are not perfect but I believe he does his best & since we pray for those in authority, I also believe God can work best thru him and not the other canidate. I don't know too many who would want his job, except maybe Hillary; but we won't go there.

    IMHO

  9. All political views should be measured against the Word not people's opinions. I believe we were taught that. It's pretty clear about knowing by the fruit one produces.

With the world you will never get someone elected that is 100% on the mark, but we were taught to make our decisions based on the best canadate who's values lined up the most with the Word.

  10. Coolchef where did you go and why did you start this thread. I would say most people in TWI saw miracles, although they were not just because we were in TWI.

I have seen miracles & healings all my life before and more after TWI. The Word of God is still the Will of God and God says he will heal all our diseases.

So, hope this helps you and I am believing for you to see big ones.

  11. Great post and great heart.

Why not consider buying a slightly larger home and bring Dad out with you if it's available. Then you solve both problems and he might enjoy your house mates.

Just a thought, but will be praying for you.

  12. Funny thing is that it seems when the current way corps finally leaves headquarters, many wake up and leave for good. Many strong believers have left in the past two years. They finally found out the truth when they got on the field & people were ill & not prospering.

At least the heart of Christ came through in time. Now they can run fellowships to their hearts content & know God is again blessing them and their people. TWI still hasn't figured out it's a Body of Christ & He is the Head and we are MEMBERS IN PARTICULAR.

    Oh well!

  13. My Lord, I cannot believe their 'garb'. The song remains the same, nothing much new. At least back in the 70's we had great music.

What dowdy clothes, whoever is designing for them or doing wardrobe might as well use flour sacks, at least they would be light colors not mud brown for spring. They are horrible. Even choir robes would be an improvement.

Such pretty ladies and they have to cover up, looks like a sect of 'jews' that we know.

You get one slightly overweight person and everyone has to wear a tent. Yuch!

  14. Hi,

We recently had to put down our Golden for the very same reason. They put her on prednisone which took some of the swelling down but she had already started having seizures and as they got worse we made the big decision. The one comfort is that they just go to sleep and really don't know what's going on. Keep an eye out for seizures and if they start, it's close to the time.

Hope Hershey has more months with you to be pampered.
