Everything posted by now I see

  1. Yep, I didn't even know there was more to the title till I looked it up, he was recently in the news because of a stunt he played at the MTV Movie Awards, he can get a little gross!
  2. No problemo, Brain, feel free to test the waters here, George is a great tutor when it comes to figuring out these games...
  3. Maybe not in this thread, but in others, there's lots posted on GS about it. I don't believe we've said everything that could be said about twi's dark side, I believe GS still serves a purpose for posting about it.
  4. yeah, it really disolved into something it didn't have to. You can take the same exact circumstances and eyewitnesses and everyone will have a different perspective of what happened, that is human nature, we will never agree on everything.
  5. I think everyone's intent here is to help Brainfixed, et al, RumRunner, Socks, Linda Z, and Ham...but there are two distinct views of the GS crowd here clashing, one where it is thought people dwell too much on the dark side-therefore never being able to overcome it and move on to living, acknowledging there were some good people and some good times associated with twi, and the other viewpoint of calling a spade a spade as often as it comes up and emphasizing the facts that darkness was a part of twi and it is an overriding effect. BOTH ARE VALID POINTS, can we not just acknowledge them and co-exist wtihout it disolving into a turf war? Who are any of us to say either the glass is half full or half empty is the right way? We all live our own lives, can we not decide for ourselves and weigh the various contributions on this web board in our own minds and come up with our own conclusions?
  6. That was a good one Steve! I'll post a new one later on today....
  7. It is true many vpee policies, programs and doctrines were not people friendly nor family friendly, and rather unloving and sometimes perverted. That being said, it's reasonable to think that some parents acted irresponsibly, unlovingly, and hypocritically toward their children and placed them in perilous and somewhat dangerous positions at times, and if that wooden spoon tactic for missing grandma was a typical daily occurrence for one kind or another perceived misbehavior, then I can see that a child growing up under such circumstances could as an adult resent the way in which he was brought up and view the ministry and it's people as hypocrits and a sham. Especially since there's been so much revealed here on GS pointing to the double life some leaders led, and the made up doctrines of vpee, etc, if such parents never even admit these things are so, then that would be a problem. Is that accurate Bolsh and Brainfixed?
  8. Yea Steve! I will post a new one tomorrow unless you want to do it yourself. Congrats!
  9. I love the way they finally acknowledge the fact that GreaseSpot exists, but they temper that with the misinformational fertilizer of, "it's filled with malicious people" no need to go there and read it and find out for yourself!!! The Geer group does the same thing. Love the way they like to denegrate anything that threatens them, just like vpee used to....keeping the tradition alive!
  10. I think there are people who bear larger burdens than others from their association with The Way, depending on the amount of real trauma suffered, people may take years to process it all, and just because it was in the past doesn't mean they are not still haunted by it, either consciously or subconsciously. Post Traumatic Shock Syndrome is something people who've suffered traumatic experiences go through, talking about it is usually theraputic, and often helps those affected by it to overcome and process these events. Those who didn't suffer such life changing things have a harder time putting themselves into the shoes of those who did, this scenario we've seen played out here many times with the "why can't you just get over it" people, I think people have their own timeline of dealing with TWI memories, and we can't have a one size fits all way of dealing with the ghosts of TWI past.
  11. It figures, someone in California getting bent out of shape over a car accident....go figure..
  12. Ok here's a new one, and as a bonus, if you get the answer right, you don't have to post the new clue unless you want to. 4 pics 2 names
  13. I can't name em all, although once I saw two anna's I figured the rest were too, Anna Kournikova, Anna Nicole something or other, Anna Pacquin..right?
  14. Oh, the power of suggestion....Vpee got so much wrong, with so many pieces missing in his version of God's doctrine, I count it good he couldn't teach on this.
  15. This is normal behaivor for TWI innies, they feel she has turned her back on God Almighty, she is forsaking the household inner circle of the family of God, that you are leading her astray and you're the cause of all this. They also feel she is not believing, is now no longer under the protection of God, and is open game for the adversary-the devil to pour out evil upon her life. They feel they have the only true faith, and that she has turned her back on everyone. If she does go back and ask questions of leadership they will probably not like it, one thing that is not allowed ever is questioning policies or teachings, she is likely to be banned, marked and avoided, excommunicated if she does this to anyone in a leadership position. This will get their hackles up and they will likely try to intimidate her into backing down, submitting to them, and into asking them for forgiveness, all while chewing her a new one. Unfortunately it sounds like she is feeling a sense of loss over not having the relationships she used to with her friends still in TWI, they are likely condemning and disparaging her for her choice to leave. I hope she comes to terms with what's most important to her, and that it is her life, not theirs, I hope she decides to throw the organization and all its manipulative trappings under the bus rather than you. That is why she probably is feeling like a victim because she is loosing all those relationships, the only ones she has ever known her whole life long, I hope she sees this outcome as something they are doing to her, and she shouldn't feel responsible for it, and that it doesn't represent love or even God's love. That part makes it hard for you, she will have to make a choice between what you have now, and what she's left behind, they don't give those who've left twi a way to have any middle ground. This may be the best thing of all, encourage her to go to these people about what it was like when they left and had to endure the separation anxiety of leaving TWI. Hopefully she will rely on these people's experience to help her along. You may want to read the archival threads here on GreaseSpot which tell of the corruption behind the doctrine, leaders and practices of TWI, they will really open your eyes to what you've gotten yourself involved with, and expose the purposely hidden reasons why TWI and the people running it are so poisonous and so utterly corrupt. God bless you and good luck with everything!
  16. Well, it looks like we are on the same page about the site.... I was more interested in how Excie was feeling anyway.. Everything Ok Excie?
  17. Call me Bananas, but I think I will solve this one...is it....Bananas?
  18. I think this thread started innocently enough, but it propbably will denegrate into the same pattern as previous threads about it...seeing as the website founder is a sincere and good intentioned person, and out of respect for Paw, then it's ok with me we don't go any deeper than this...
