  1. For anyone to have gone so low as to drug females in order to have sex with their unconscious bodies, that person definitely belonged in jail, I definitely wouldn't let them anywhere near me or my family, none the less want to sit at their feet and listen to anything they might have to say! It is odd that people still say, he was nice to me, I saw him help people, he was different in the early days, I never had a problem with him, he never did those things to me... The truth is, even OJ wants love, so I'm sure vpee did too..no one is all bad all the time, but it gets real hard to turn a blind eye (sorry about the unintentional pun) toward some of the things he did do, and grant him absolution...His tombstone should have read, "We wish he was the man we believed him to be"!!
  2. The corps program was a mess when I went in, what I got out of it was access to study materials I wouln't have had at home, more time to do personal study, and a sense of fraternity with friends and those on work details. Although in the end, there was no loyalty from those in charge of the corps, from twi, from friends or co-workers, twi existed to serve itself, not to help those in the corpse.
  3. I also think the amount of fond memories of good times is directly proportional to the amount and severity of bad times at twi, depending on how ruthless you were treated at any given time and especially at the end. Also, I think the ones who came to Hq in the early years had quite a different experience than the rest of us, and those who were higher up in the twi hierarchy system had a much different experience than the rank and file.
  4. My family raised and bred terriers my whole childhood, as long as the Scottie is raised with children in the house and has good training from the adults, there should be no problem. Terriers are usually very loyal, good watchdogs, love to dig, originally bred for hunting, and can very bold, if they are oriented with other pets and children from puppyhood with strong leadership from humans, they adapt really well. I personally like the methods of the Dog Whisperer, Cesar Millan's approach to orienting dogs to children and people to dogs, humans being pack leaders, he has a website under his name, books, videos and a tv show on the National Geographic channel. This website is a great information source on the Scottie and all dog breeds: http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/scottishterrier.htm Good luck! :)
  5. My favorite scene is where Tony Shaloob is making out with the squid-girl in the elevator which really grosses out Guy incredibly, as he watches her from the hallway, as she expands into her true form. Good choice WordWolf, I recognize the dialog now!
  6. Thanks for saying it was cute, I guess no one wanted to crowd you and solve it....Anyway, you're up! :)
  7. How bout this one: "Odd that VP would hear God telling him to shut up, but not to keep his pants zipped."......A quote from Jim ... Simply classic! I couldn't stop laughing!
  8. :jump: LOL!!! Jim, I've never read anything so funny! Amen to that! What a skeezer!
  9. No clue, the only ones I really know are the original series.... :(
  10. How does one get shot at in FLO? Did the limb leader do it? Inquiring minds want to know, especially how that makes one extra speashul spurtchill.
  11. You got it WordWolf!! Congrats!
  12. Thanks guys, i see the link, never knew anything like that existed... cheers!
  13. Just punch riding lawn mower movie into google search and you'll get your answer....easy peasy.
  14. Really? Where is this link, is Paw taking donations? I'm positive many, many of us would contribute to the keep Greasespot Running fund if we could-tell us more.....
  15. Good point Tazia, I never thought of it that way, but stopping it would curtail al ot of talk and comparing of notes concerning twi ways, M&A's and new policies, a great way of curbing the building of resentment from the rank and file. I bet Corps week was real fun for those who attended those years. Maybe some attendees can let us know if all the yelling from the Big Forehead made their ears ring. Maybe they could tell us if their was a visible difference in the numbers of people, the amount of campers, and if the big top tents were scaled down after so many left or were booted out of twi.
  16. I finally recognized it!! new one: One man come and go One come he to justify One man to overthrow
  17. When I was Young-- The Animals
  18. sounds like bruce springsteen, but I really have no idea who it is or what song it is....
  19. Good one RumRunner! Thanks for the clarification WordWolf, the I, Mudd a take off of I, Robot is hilarious, it fits. Coincidentally, there was a program on the History channel last night which followed the 40th anniversary auction of Star Trek memorabilia from the Paramount Studio's storage. It detailed many of the one of a kind items thru their journey from the show to their moving to Christi's Auction House to their sale to the individual buyers with Leonard Nemoy hosting, it had a lot of heart and is worth watching even if you're not a dedicated Trekie. Here's a link to what was sold, the auction actually happened in 2006: http://www.christies.com/special_sites/startrek/overview.asp Live long and prosper.....
  20. That sounds about right, that was a good episode! I think TvLand channel still broadcasts the original series, I haven't watched it in ages, but when the tv show first came out in the '70's, my father liked it so much we would sometimes watch it while we ate dinner! Which is something I would never do with the kids, but he loved the series. No biggie, its a one dimentional medium... :)
