This information about how the little ones were mistreated in the FC is beyond comprehension. It is the lowest of the low to do that. I'm so thankful that I was in the wc single. I worked children's camp, but only in the kitchen. I never saw anything wierd but I wasn't around the children very much. I would not have survived the FC. I would never let anyone mistreat or even speak disrespectful in any way to my children. I have allowed people to treat me like garbage, but I would never allow it with my kids. I need to pray for healing for those that were involved and pray for those who are still involved in TWI.

I would like to know more about the G*** B******** situation. I have friends that have invited me to send my children to the camp with GB. I have been asked twice and said no twice until I learn more about it.

Abolutely Unbelieveable :(--> How can these people think that they are leading any kind of a Christian life, acting this way. They need to have some compassion for people wanting to come and visit their deceased family members. I've never heard of such low, and discusting behavior for a so called "Christian," group. Chasufarley I was raised in a small public school. I have been homeschooling my two children for over 10 years. My husband and I chose it because the schools here in the city are terrible. It seems that there is actually very little of the three R's taught. My kids love it and so do I. They are very active in extra activities and sports. I go to homeschool conventions to check out books and other aids. I also read, read, and read anything I can get my hands on to help educate my children. I also let their interests guide me. I love being with my kids all day, because they will only be with me for a few more years and then they will have lives of their own.

Don't Fence Me In I love this topic. I agree with you. I would love for this to be brought up with ex-way groups (the fact that this was just VP's opinion NOT a biblical doctrine.)

The spinoff group that I used to be involved with is almost identical to TWI. They are extremely controlling and don't allow for any differences of opinion. They worship VP and they don't stray from his teachings. If you are NOT a yes person, then this group is not for you. I'm thankful for the good that I learned from TWI, but I want to throw of the bad and continue to grow. The spin off groups that I personally know of and have had some involvement with continue to keep everything just as it was in TWI. They seem afraid of stepping out and making a mistake. It seems that they think if they keep everything the same as it was, that they will be safe. What a sad situation.

Searcher I was involved in an ex-way group for quite a few years. It was a group that was almost all ex followers of the TWI. The leadership was fired or released from TWI and started a new group. This group does things very much like TWI including the yelling and the controlling stuff. They run classes and they shun people who don't agree with them on every issue. VP worship is vital and you don't want to disagree about ANYTHING. The group started out fine, but when the classes came, then it changed back into a TWI copy.

Back Forty I also was a wow in the Dallas area in 82-83. Maybe I know you. I just got out my Dallas wow photo. We had around 100 wows that year.
