  1. I think that Billy Graham has done so much for so many. Maybe Dr. W. was simply just jealous of Billy's accomplishments. Our family went to see Billy a few years ago. I thought that it was a privilege.
  2. Oak and Reiki Congratulations!!!! I'm thrilled for you.God's Richest blessings to you both. :)-->
  3. Paw I just wanted to thank you for this site and your labor of love. thanks
  4. There are new people coming to the spot frequently and therefore many things need to be repeated. I say we continue to repeat until everyone has had a chance to hear what really goes on in TWI and gets courage to get out. IMHO Thanks Paw for keeping the cafe open to help those in need.
  5. Danny You got that right. If a ministry has to boast and brag about how great they are, there's a huge red flag.
  6. John L. was my Corps C. and he had a lot of control and told people what to do. He seemed prideful and lacked humility. IMHO Ok, he is not involved with TWI any more and I believe that he should have another chance as a leader or deacon, whatever you want to call it. I have attended a CES meeting and also have seen him on an other occasion and he seems the same prideful person that I knew in TWI. I hate to see God's people put through that again. That being said. I still care about John and what happens to him. It seems that many of those who have been in the limelight or upfront struggle greatly with just being a regular person without a big position. I don't want John to lose his way with God or give up serving God because he can't do it in a leadership role. I'm praying that John finds peace, and his true place in the body of Christ. I also pray that he finds humility and happiness.
  7. Ab. Passion flower and valerian root are also very helpful. I hope you get the zing back into your step. Take care. :)-->
  8. This is an interesting question if it is possible to lose salvation. After receiving salvation, wouldn't it be best to die right away so as not to take a chance that you make a mistake and then lose your salvation??
  9. Laleo Please check your private topics :)-->
  10. I'm really curious. I wondered if you commit any sin, then is it over? From a logical point of view, I feel that I would have to draw a line and know what sin would cross me off from salvation. I am not afraid to change my beliefs if I find out that I have been in error. I have been searching this out for some time. I am trying to understand their view. I don't know any one that has gone one day without committing a sin. (except Jesus) Whether it be having an evil thought or swearing or some other sin, which one would cause me not to have eternal life?
  11. I tried to get rid of some of the ?marks, but they don't want to go away.
  12. I have encountered ex-wafers who now believe that you could lose your salvation if you commit a sin. Does anyone know anything about it? If this is supposedly true, then how many sins or which sins will deny you salvation? It would seem to me then, that the price that Jesus paid would be for nothing. It would be a whole works thing. I'm seeking the truth not trying to stir up trouble. Every thing that I have studied in the past two years seems to indicate that salvation is permanent.
  13. Right from the git go, I greatly disliked the place. I went to a SNS while in-residence, and then there after stayed back in the dorms during the service. I just couldn't stand it. It made me want to puke.
  14. Yes, I'm still very happily married to the husband that I met in TWI. We have both changed a lot and we are very glad to be out. We have been married 17 1/2 years.
  15. This isn't a splinter group but quite a few ex-way people participate in it. It is a group with Axxhony Bxxzard. Most ex-way and Way people know him. He is a great teacher, and not legalistic. He doesn't believe that Jesus Christ is God and that appeals to many ex-wafers.(if interested) You can search under Atlanta Bible College and Restoration Fellowship. They have churches and bible study groups all around the country. He wrote a book called, "The Doctrine of the Trinity"
  16. Paw I'm not sure what my problem is, but it is still slower than it ever has been before. I checked for a virus and I've run the bug programs and I come up with no answers. It took me about 10 minutes for the page to load for me to make this comment.
  17. Fog That was real thoughtful for you to say. Have a great day :)-->
  18. Jardi Happy belated birthday. I hope that it was a great one. :)--> :)--> :)--> :)--> :)-->
  19. Galen We have the entire Dr. Dino series on video, but we are looking for some of those photos to put on paper so she can show them. Thanks to everyone for their impute.
  20. I got to go to my prom in 1979. I didn't have a date and I wasn't planning on going. I had friends in college (a married couple) and the wife insisted that I go to my prom. Her sweet husband took me. After the prom, we picked her up and went dancing at the disco. Then headed for Dennys. It turned out to be a wonderful eveing.
  21. If anyone has any info. and pictures about sea monsters I would love to see it. My daughter is doing a 30 minute presentation on the subject for school. She needs a ton of info. She has about 3 more weeks to research it. Thanks all
  22. Jardinero I didn't have to provide pictures for my app. That must be someone else. But my app. corps coordinater required me to wear sexier type clothes, go to an x-rated movie and visit a gay bar before he would allow me to go in-residence. I'm finding out that while I was in, there was quite abit of this stuff going on and I was very young and naive at the time, so I was an easy target. A corps friend of mine has told me stories that would curl everyone's hair. I have told many people about Greasespot that has not ever heard of it or the info. about VP. I'm very thankful to Greasespot and posters like Exie who have had alot of courage to expose the garbage that was going on.
  23. This wasn't an arranged marriage but rather an arranged date. My in-residence twig coordinater arranged a date for me. (I was very unhappy about it) Anyway, we went out and he expected something from me that I was not about to give. The next day I was reprooved (by my in-residence twig coordinaters) for not taking care of his needs. UGH!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about making me sick, AAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!
  24. See Me Thank you so much for posting and clarifying the situation. Thanks to your daughter for her bravery. I will pray for both of your hearts to be healed.
