Yes I was sleep deprived, worked like a dog, treated less than a son of God should be treated, BUT I did learn some wonderful, good information and experience. It is also a place that I met my wonderful husband. I believe that God worked in the situation to help me learn and grow. I believe that the corpse was the best thing available for me at that time to help me grow and learn. I have to fight to keep from being bitter sometimes, but I remain thankful for the good that I have learned. If I would have been one of those unfortunate ladies to have been abused, I'm sure that my opinions would have been quite different and I would probably not speak kindly in any way toward TWI. I pray that there is sweet justice for the abused ladies. For any of the abusers that are still alive, I pray that justice comes very swift.For the abusers that are deceased, I believe that God will not let it go unpunished. I pray for great healing for all victims.IMHO

It seems like the researches were frequently quieted and the truth just wasn't allowed to be spoken. There definitely wasn't room for questioning or disagreement. It was one man's way or the highway. IMHO

I would like to know why Donna is being allowed to stay when other married couples who are split are not allowed. I also would like to know how they legally can require corps or staff to give them a full detailed list of their actions at all times. I also would like to know how legally they can tell people when to or not to get pregnant. I would also like to know why RR didn't do anything about Loy when she knew of his wrong doings?

No, you haven't been doing it wrong. That was just another form of abuse. They constantly want you to think that you'll never measure up. They need to get a life and leave you alone. IMHO

I was wondering if there were any books published with personal accounts by people in TWI about the abuse that was (IS) taking place. I know there was one made a few years ago. I forget the name, but wondered if anything recent has come out. There are still so many that don't know how bad things really got and are living in a fantasy land. I have recently heard from several people who are just now finding out about some of the terrible things that happened in TWI. They knew that TWI had problems when they were in, but they didn't know many of the major things that have been posted here and Waydale. I'm so thankful for this site and for Paw. Some of these people were still into the VP worship etc.. but now they know what really happened. They are seeing that we shouldn't believe something just because Dr. VP said it or TWI said it. It is just my personal opinion, but this letter seems too little too late to save themselves. For me personally, I can't believe what they say because of past experience and their continued silence on other such serious matters. The thing that would save them is true humility. If they were indeed sorry for past actions and made that known to others and the current leadership stepped down to let someone else take over who is humble, loving and spiritually minded, they MIGHT be able to recover. For with God, nothing is impossible. Of course this is just my opinion, for what it is worth. PS. Paw, I hope you can get some rest. Thanks for all your labor of love in keeping up with this site.
