  1. Zixar, Ummm, well, ummm I have lived a sheltered life. ha ha Nope have not seen it yet. But will do some catch up soon. And thanks for the info about your wife enjoying it. Hey, ever consider Gollum in light of TWI leaders? He was yucky.....hee hee. Kathy
  2. I have had no bad encounters with them at all. In fact they are careful and ask you to be the same as far as using info acquired there. My 2 cents worth anyway. Kathy
  3. The Road goes ever on and on Down from the door where it began. Now far ahead the Road has gone, And I must follow, if I can, Pursuing it with eager feet, Until it joins some larger way Where many paths and errands meet. And whither then? I cannot say. Hey, what if it is has been like 28 years since you read this work, is the movie still gonna be cool or should I re-read the work first? Kathy
  4. Cynic, if you had just come over and eaten that breakfast I made you a couple months ago. Kathy
  5. Lightside, What a wonderful post. [This message was edited by ChattyKathy on December 23, 2002 at 21:55.]
  6. Socks, You just don't miss a beat do ya? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Since it is Christmas (love to say that word hee hee) and this is a music thread well........... [This message was edited by ChattyKathy on December 22, 2002 at 8:04.]
  7. bowtwi, I wondered if you meant to start a new thread, if you want we can move ours over and you can start a new thread then we can come back here and just delete our text. Up to you, what ya think? Or just leave this here and you still start a new one by copy and paste of this one. Kathy
  8. bowtwi, Is this a real story? LMAO Kathy
  9. bowtwi, The lost threads and posts of ours were on part of the 26th thru part of 29th of October. I also have considered their eyes on this thread, but we have given them only things that should make them regret the great loss of these folks lives in theirs. Thanks for the mention though, and also we should continue to note IMO or something of that effect to cover our butts as a just in case. 10. likeaeagle, Your right, and for me when twi leaders were more than I felt I could bear up under oft times it was the music that soothed my soul and gave me the strength to go on. Why no matter how much I dislike (nice word) twi today I will not slam the folks who brought music and deliverance to our souls. They did more than just sing and play instruments, they gave unto us their all. BTW, just did some more printing of this thread for my keepsake, now up to 184 pages. Kathy
  11. Will yall please tell as many as you are comfortable doing? I think I could really become a pain in the butt now, cause yall are great story tellers. So much for whatever it was I thought I was doing in the house. ha ha
  12. A la prochaine, Okay you can have your first paycheck when we hit paydirt okeedokee. BTW, just got your awesome card and pic's of the kids. Much love and thanks for it. Okay now I am really leaving, was just passing my office and had to peek in, yall have this magnetic thing going on here.
  13. Okay yall, now I have things to do in the house, and you are making it impossible for me to leave this screen. And Ted, maybe we will come up with something worth a few bucks in our music writing, you can have your raise in pay then. LMAO I am going to alter the name of this again to showcase Way Prod more now. But gotta get away from this screen for a bit now.
  14. What excellent background heart and details shared by Socks and Ted. I had heard ego's of leaders without a clue had mucked up the system, this before meeting Ted and during time Socks and I were not in contact with each other. So to see these men tell THE REAL STORY is most rewarding. What a joy to at last have freedom to speak and not be fearful of consequences. And you Mr. WayGB, maybe take these men's lead and get a life outside of your control freak existence. (not to get heavy and sidetracked here, just hits my heart some on this topic) Thanks guys, this stuff is what folks come here to read I think, even with all the awesome heart and love of all, bottom line I think they come here to see background things like these posts of yalls. And to be able to chat about their heart on it, if only in twi a short while, as music touches us all. My love and thanks to you both for giving unto us all. Kathy
  15. Below is a quote from someone who met him and was encouraged by him to pursue their music goals. This person must have asked him a similar question.
  16. ohbehave, Your doing a pretty good job of being precious yourself. This song has so much to say. A great piece of work.
  17. LEE ANN WOMACK "I Hope You Dance" I hope you never lose your sense of wonder, You get your fill to eat but always keep that hunger, May you never take one single breath for granted, GOD forbid love ever leave you empty handed, I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean, Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens, Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance, And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance. I hope you dance....I hope you dance. I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance, Never settle for the path of least resistance Livin' might mean takin' chances but they're worth takin', Lovin' might be a mistake but it's worth makin', Don't let some hell bent heart leave you bitter, When you come close to sellin' out reconsider, Give the heavens above more than just a passing glance, And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance. I hope you dance....I hope you dance. I hope you dance....I hope you dance. (Time is a wheel in constant motion always rolling us along, Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder where those years have gone.) I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean, Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens, Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance, And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance. Dance....I hope you dance. I hope you dance....I hope you dance. I hope you dance....I hope you dance.. (Time is a wheel in constant motion always rolling us along Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder where those years have gone)
  18. Thanks A la prochaine, it has been fun watching you come on board and move into the mix here. You are a wonderful addition to grease spot cafe, and I want you to know how thankful I am for how you give unto this thread in such a personal way. Kathy
  19. Ted, THANK YOU!!!!! One of the things I love about this forum is the opportunity to know the real story. One that is spoken by the ones who lived it, and is not hindered in the telling of it by control freak twi leaders. If you tried to tell that story while in TWI, you would have had some stupid little snot-nosed who doesn't know his *** from a whole in the ground leader going "well maybe it was really like this or that". arrggggg Thank you for the details, they were fascinating. And Socks, please give us some goodies on this as well. Please. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ And as far as my posting too much, well I decided, screw it....this is free cyberspace and I still have way too much to say to allow myself to be held back in my words here. I left here and played some in open and music forums. Then saw QQ had a thread that just grabbed my attention. I just still have too much to say, so folks read me or pass me over, your call. But I ain't going anywhere. Kathy edited to add this: being of the feisty mindset I am today I decided to alter the name of this thread, was pretty confident it was not going to confused with another one at this point. 20. Dixie Chicks Cowboy Take Me Away I said I wanna touch the earth I wanna break it in my hands I wanna grow something wild and unruly I wanna sleep on the hard ground In the comfort of your arms On a pillow of bluebonnets In a blanket made of stars Oh it sounds good to me I said Cowboy take me away Fly this girl as high as you can Into the wild blue Set me free oh I pray Closer to heaven above and Closer to you closer to you I wanna walk and not run I wanna skip and not fall I wanna look at the horizon And not see a building standing tall I wanna be the only one For miles and miles Except for maybe you And your simple smile Oh it sounds good to me Yes it sounds so good to me Cowboy take me away Fly this girl as high as you can Into the wild blue Set me free oh I pray Closer to heaven above and Closer to you closer to you I said I wanna touch the earth I wanna break it in my hands I wanna grow something wild and unruly Oh it sounds so good to me Cowboy take me away Fly this girl as high as you can Into the wild blue Set me free oh I pray Closer to heaven above and Closer to you closer to you Closer to you Cowboy take me away. Closer to you
  21. Zixar, No one even comes close to my number. I am honestly tying of late to pull back some. But what you are saying to me in your words are most kind, thank you for that. Ted, Thanks for coming back, they want to see your words the most, and Socks can add unto that in ways no one else can. All others, Please keep posting, I love to read each one of you, no one is less here, you all add spice like only you can. I just feel I need to pull back some. But I am here, reading every last drop of sugar and spice. http://www.cht.qc.ca/cht/dmpart111.htm (edited to add this link, cool stuff about 70's music) My love to your each, Kathy [This message was edited by ChattyKathy on December 17, 2002 at 14:31.]
  22. Ted will be back, and thank you for hanging in here, I know I have made it pretty lengthly all by myself. I will try to hold back some in my posting. But he will be back soon. And I am still so thankful for how both Ted and Socks have shared so much here, they hold so much history of music, and so much in direct regards to twi.
