  2. socks, please join us when you can. I have gone there everynight for a little while and it is awesome. I have met some of yall there that I have always wanted to talk to on a one on one before. It is way cool. Really way cool. Kathy
  3. Hope, It was that email addy in your card that gave me access to really claim thinking outside of the "twi box". You deserve "more" than the credit, I shall forever be grateful for your heart to listen to our Father and send me a life jacket in the form of an email addy. And I think I may have mentioned this to gs before but the first time I logged on and read yall here I shut the blinds in the house so no one could possibly look in to my screen, and I waited until hubby was away. Then after I read some I backed out of the site and prayed to God that no one find out I was here. :D--> :D--> :D--> Yes Hope is "right on", you can never know the impact an action of yours can have to help set the captives free. Just never know. Hope, my dearest friend....I so love you and John. Kathy
  4. Whatever makes for a peaceful day in your life I trust you have many of this coming year. Happy Birthday!

  7. A la prochaine, Can't wait to hear your story about the concert. Oak, Just liking em is a cool comment in itself. :)--> Ted, Glad to see ya here again. And you know I love to help ya with lyrics. :D--> Till tonight yall, have a great day, mine is month end, ahhhhh. What we do for a buck. Kathy
  8. Garth Brooks "Wolves" January's always bitter But Lord this one beats all The wind ain't quit for weeks now And the drifts are ten feet tall I been all night drivin' heifers Closer in to lower ground Then I spent the mornin' thinkin' 'Bout the ones the wolves pulled down Charlie Barton and his family Stopped today to say goodbye He said the bank was takin' over The last few years were just too dry And I promised that I'd visit When they found a place in town Then I spent a long time thinkin' 'Bout the ones the wolves pull down Lord please shine a light of hope On those of us who fall behind And when we stumble in the snow Could you help us up while there's still time Well I don't mean to be complainin' Lord You've always seen me through And I know you got your reasons For each and every thing you do But tonight outside my window There's a lonesome mournful sound And I just can't keep from thinkin' 'Bout the ones the wolves pull down Oh Lord keep me from bein' The one the wolves pull down
  9. Has anyone noticed that if you listen to CD?s more than the radio that you lose track of what is current music? At work I am in a computer room and the reception is nearly impossible for any radio station so I listen to CD?s or cassettes. On the way to and from or out and about I listen to older country and rock n roll stations. At home it is mixed but rarely have just the radio on. Anyway I just realized I have lost contact with today?s music in lots of ways. Am I the only one who got lost like that? --> act2, please check our private topic now. And thanks for the invite, it was my first. :)-->
  10. Hope, I don't think much said about the Eagles yet. I love 'Hotel California' and 'New Kid In Town', to name a few. Do you have that newer album of theirs, which ain't new now I guess. --> I thought I had it but can't find it now, anyway I thought that was an awesome album, after being apart for so many years. They sounded like they never split up only better I think than ever before. Again I think age really can be an advantage for artists, they just get better. Kathy
  11. Rafael, ya had to go and do it man, and Hope has said such great things about you to me. But oh no you had to go post HIM. --> :D-->
  12. Oak, can ya give me some insight into your poem here and what ya had on your mind, it is interesting. Thanks, Kathy
  13. moreyt, Ted amazes me. Last night I put together a group of three verses. Sent them to him and woke this morning with an email of a completed song from it. If we never made a dime, which I would like to do mind ya, we are having more fun than any two folks should be allowed to along the way. :)--> I can not begin to express how things have changed of late because he noticed I was here and offered what he knew. Kathy
  14. A la prochaine, Do tell us about it once you have gone. I have a few Celtic CD's. Love the music, in fact have one on now titled The Roll Of The Sea. Soothing and romantic. :)-->
  15. I left off a couple things also from that list that were dumb. :D--> Yall's additions are great. :)-->
  16. Ted is putting together those lyrics now and will post them in a bit. He just sang me a few lines over the phone. What a song! Talk to yall later, in the middle of projects right now. Have fun. GO BUCS!
  17. I'll see if Ted has them to post. I just sent an email to see if around and if he has lyrics. GO BUCS!
  18. Kick up your heels and smell the country air as you show each other how deeply you care. Kathy
  19. Speaking of JT, wasn't Carly Simon horrified to go on stage for years?
  20. Your reason for not staying in touch with your family is because they do not have email. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of three. Your grandmother asks you to send her a JPEG file of your newborn so she can create a screen saver. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if anyone is home. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn?t have the first 20 or 60 years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you turn around to go get it. Using real money, instead of credit or debit, to make a purchase would be a hassle and would take some planning. You just tried to enter your password on the microwave. You consider second-day air delivery painfully slow. Your idea of being organized is multi-colored Post-It Notes. You hear most of your jokes via email instead of in person. You get an extra phone line so you can get phone calls. You disconnect from the Internet and get an awful feeling, as if you just pulled the plug on a loved one. You get up in the morning and go online before getting your coffee. You wake at 2:00 a.m. to go to the bathroom and check your email on your way back to bed. You start tilting your head sideways to smile. :-) You?re reading this and nodding and laughing.
  21. Linda Z, don't ya find yourself seeing and hearing the sights sung about while listening to JT? I listen to him when I need down time from things around me. He encourages a peaceful heart. Right now doing some work on line and listening to Little River Band, great stuff. Kathy
  22. Your welcome Mark. Wonder who will be crying in their soup come Sunday night? Had to get some type of food into this post. :D-->
  23. ex10, oh yes please do. I will be there in a minute. Oh how I wish it were so, gosh that would be such a treat. Someday, someday.
